Beach House of Jacksonville Beach

Beach House Senior Living is a wonderful community. I love that the Directors and team members are focused on seniors living their best lives. There is such a great, family oriented vibe everytime I visit. The residents are happy and well cared for. They truly love living here. The food at this community is so good. They have a couple entree choices as well as an always available menu to offer great variety for each meal. You won't find a better team or community for your loved one. Don't hesitate to bring your loved one here.

PLEASE READ - My family trusted this facility to care for my mother during a vulnerable time in her life. Unfortunately, our experience left us with serious concerns regarding medication management, communication, and the facility’s response during a medical emergency. Following my mother’s passing, I was left with many unanswered questions about the care she received and the timeline of events surrounding the incident. As a result, I have decided to file a complaint with the State and consult with legal counsel so that these concerns can be properly reviewed by the appropriate authorities. What has been especially difficult to understand is the contrast in communication. A few months ago, when I fell slightly behind on my mother’s rent, I received multiple calls in a single week regarding the account. However, after my mother’s passing, I have not received a single phone call expressing condolences, offering support, or even a simple “we are sorry for your loss.” Instead, I received communication regarding ongoing charges while my family was still grieving and searching for answers. I understand that every family’s experience may be different, but based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this facility. If I could give one piece of advice to anyone considering placing a loved one here, it would be to carefully research all available options before making that decision. Based on what my family experienced, I would not trust this facility with the care of a loved one, even as a last resort. Families deserve transparency, accountability, compassion, and confidence that their loved ones are receiving the highest standard of care. Unfortunately, my family did not feel that we received those things. I hope the concerns I have raised are thoroughly investigated and that improvements are made to help prevent other families from experiencing similar heartbreak.!!

My father-in-law lived in Beach House Memory Care for two years. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Executive Director, Victory Sloan, who helped navigate this difficult journey for our loved one. The Culinary Head, Lindsay Rothman, was our valued partner in helping us maintain the diet restrictions our loved one required. Kiddos to these two wonderful people who helped us give Dad the peace and dignity as well as privacy when he recently passed.

This place is awesome! We visited this wonderful community for a family event. It was a Texas dinner with ribs and WOW! I was blown away! The food was amazing! The staff was amazing! A big special shout out to Lindsay Rothman she went above and beyond! She’s truly an angel! My heart is full knowing of all the caring people that work there!
