Dad was admitted here after his stroke. Good Samaritan wanted 3 days before checking him though we asked them to. He couldn't walk and was paralyzed. He couldn't eat or talk. Good Samaritan only treated him for phenomena and wanted to send him home! He had many problems. He was in NO shape to come home. He couldn't eat either. He had ALZ for many years. He was sent here and yes, it could be upgraded and I hear it will be but the staff was wonderful! Hospice took over right away. He had bleeding in his brain since Good Samaritan and should have been on pain killers. They gave him pain killers and told us 3 days to a month to live. No sign of high blood pressure. He was 91 though with ALZ. You guys showed a lot of compassion which a brand new room can't compare to. Dad held my hand real tight as if to say, I love you. He did that to all 3 family members. Then he drifted off to not recognizing us. He couldn't speak anyways. I want to thank you very much for your care. I love you dad and mom. Miss you both.

This place is disgusting! Smells of urine. People sitting in wheelchairs lining the hallway. When my brother was sent to the hospital and I wanted to pick up his things, I was given the run around. After finally getting his things, there were many things missing. When I called back about it, they somehow “found” some of it. When I told them there were still items missing, I was told to go home and look through his stuff again because everything was there. I had already gone through his stuff and that is how I know that there were things missing. Avoid this place at all costs.

A family member of mine had to be here. I have to say the quality of care and attention he received was very good despite everything that had to be done with there condition. Every staff member i encountered was nice, helpful and patient, even with difficult people.

I was admitted first week of May after shattering my knee. Now I understand how people go to a nursing home for a knee injury and either lose their leg or die. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. - [ ] Toilet bad handrails after having to hop on one foot pass the ruts in the floor, I had to try to lean backwards and lower myself onto a standard height toilet and hope I didn't fall. The alternative is to use a commode. - [ ] Bad floors--see pictures of ruts the size of post it's. - [ ] Nails sharp nurses with long nails dig in to a leg wrap or bandage when changing. - [ ] Toilet paper ran out several times, nurse would roll some onto her hand and bring the wad for you to use. See pic. Last week ran out 3 out of 6 days. Offered brown paper towels to use. - [ ] Getting a cna like the they like they are better than doing that be with ask the nurse to empty commode after bowels movement and act like to good to remove. Covered the poop with paper towel. Sat there 4+ hours, and brought dinner tray and sat on table above it. Ron's didn't own the problems. 6 hours to get pillow when had none. Several hours to empty commode, one can on graves if having to wipe you left you feeling like you had a body caveat search cause her fingers went all the way up and in. Would have you wait for meds, snack, ice what have you until next shift came on. I have fluctuating BP (see pic)and even when doctor told them to specifically call him if issues continue they would record false readings in log and just send an email for him to see when he returned. I had to call 911 for myself when 215/130 or thereabouts. Nurse said she did no what to do so was going to wait for shift change and report. Also most staff had to bring in their own bp cuff. Many on floor not calibrated but left on floor to use anyway. Ignored doctor's order for labs for 2 weeks. Wake up/scare patients when bringing food, talking loud and harsh. Grabbed hand and since I was dreaming, I almost hit her. You get weighed like life's talk wheelchair and all and when your wield up there, they're rough and they hit all the bumps and they don't show any consideration for injuries. First 10 days had two different wheel chairs too big with missing, broken, mismatched parts. Very difficult to use and unsafe. Sidewalks, floors etc unsafe to use. Cleaned poopy patients with washcloths. "Clean ones" smelled like poop. A neighbor fell out of bed and was there for hours before they discovered her. Left on commode after finished up to an hour in pain. Only given one shower not two per week when no offer to hand bathe. - [ ] Pt wrong order of steps. Had me trying to walk on both the flat right away never use pillow bars I feel I was delayed at least a month of healing. Also didn't have ice packs sometimes if they did, they filled them too and when I questioned them, they said I needed a doctor order to have them and wouldn't give them to me. Do not go there!!!!
