I recently needed to move my father from a facility in Shelton to a situation closer to me. I chose Atria after visiting a number of places in the area. The entire administrative staff and all members of the community have made the move seamless and as easy as possible. From the professionalism of their 'wellness' staff to the welcome of their office personnel, the transition has meant that I have greater peace of mind than I have had for years. Communication is easy. Response times are insanely quick. Help is available when needed. Everyone seems to care about the residents in the building. The shared spaces are clean and flooded with light. The apartments are lovely and spacious. The quality of their care is vastly superior to what I had witnessed in my father's prior location — and while they cannot reverse aging or fix Alzheimer's, they certainly know how to treat human beings with the dignity and respect they deserve. I am pleased to give them 5 stars and would offer more if they were available.

We were looking for a place for my father to relocate closer to our home. Luckily, we found Atria. The staff has been so welcoming, warm and caring to my Dad and our whole family. The facility is outstanding, it is like a luxury apartment building. My Dad feels like he has found a home where he can connect with others, get a cup of tea and can find activities that he really loves. My family feels so fortunate that my Dad is in such great hands at Atria and we are extremely grateful for all they have done for us.

The Atria in Stamford is a fantastic place. The “Everybody knows your name” for all makes every resident feel welcome and included. Our relative has been cared for first on assisted living and then needed to transition to the memory care unit. The transition was seamless and all staff are attentive annd friendly Feedback is always available, and programs of care can be readjusted . Concerns are always addressed with the utmost care for safety, patients welfare, and dignity. I have enjoyed working with Denese Brooks executor director , Frank Mastrone program director then sales , and Allison Judge finance to address any and all program or financial issues and they have been receptive. Overall, The Atria deserves its high ratings as being one of the best and highest rated assisted living facilities in all of Connecticut. David Berkun

My mother moved into Atria Stamford last year and has had an excellent experience. The care she has received is superb. The Atria Team has done a fantastic job making mom feel welcome and she loves the activities offered, particularly "movie night". The dining room is well run and the food is really good. Denese Brooks and her team are approachable, responsive, smart and caring. It's good to know that our mother is in such good hands.
