Atria San Juan

After viewing 5-6 senior living facilities in South Orange County for my 91 year old dad, I landed on Atria San Juan in San Juan Capistrano. It feels like a boutique hotel in a small European town with tons of Spanish/Mediterranean charm. What initially sold me on this pet-friendly property was the location, the setting, the restaurant/bistro menus and the daily activities for residents. It was also a great value compared to the other properties I visited. The staff at Atria is AMAZING… friendly, caring and professional! This definitely confirmed I had made the right choice for my dad. If you’re looking for a senior living facility for yourself or a loved one, I highly recommend Atria San Juan!

I moved my parents here in January 2025 they were in ok health but declining, not eating well at home. Since living here they are thriving, they eat three healthy meals a day and getting a some walking in going to and from the dining room three times a day. They are also enjoying bingo and social hour. They staff here is great!

We recently moved our mother into the Memory Care facility at Atria San Juan. We visited about 8 places in all and this was the best fit for us. From the first visit when we met Community Sales Director, Christy Farris, she was a joy to work with! She was friendly, positive, and very helpful. I had many questions while visiting, and after, which Christy was more than able to answer, or research and get back to me with an answer. Once our decision was made for Atria, Christy was able to help us with move-in arrangements. Our mother is content and happy at Atria and Christy continues to be a friendly face and a source of information and encouragement!

Atria San Juan has been a haven for both of my parents. It all comes together here with caring and competent staff, a beautiful well-maintained accessible peaceful property, and an amazing interesting and supportive community of people that live there. I looked at many places from different angles, and then toured my parents through 8 assisted living communities. They chose Atria San Juan. This environment has proven true to their impression over and over. The staff in charge work effectively to keep this place a special high quality environment. For our Dad it has provided a place for conversation exchange and social interaction that he was missing in his home when our Mom was no longer able to drive. Transportation to Doctors appointments is available and consistent. To go to church on Sundays from Atria San Juan taking them there is a huge plus factor. The apartment itself is spacious, well-appointed, and gets beautiful light with an outdoor patio. Musical concerts are frequent, and all of us especially enjoyed the Christmas concert with visiting college superb musicians. The events coordinator has scheduled many beautiful and tasty outings as well as discussion provoking and life affirming speakers. The daily activities such as the walks and the exercise class there and the good meals and eating together with their community have brought them daily enjoyment. We were so lucky to hear about Atria San Juan by a great friend whose mother is there. Overall, very happy with Atria San Juan, thank you for providing a safe and caring community!
