My husband and I left our home for 52 years married and living in South GA for 83 and 72years finding a place for us near our 2 daughters in Alpharetta GA. It took us awhile to find Atria and it’s where I wouldn’t leave He had to but I got involved and love the food, the parties, the weekly entertainment and the residents. They asked me if I would be an ambassador and of course I said I’d be honored. They are my family and I love them so much! I’m entering into the next chapter of my life and my faith in God will help me be stronger and SURVIVE!!!

I visited several facilities before deciding on Atria. It is a vibrant, Active community with a large variety of activities. Something for everyone. Everyone that I've met has been friendly. No one sits alone at Atria, unless they choose to. As a visitor, I was at their Thanksgiving dinner and was at a table by myself, awaiting for my friend to join me, after about a minute I heard someone say "Come join us." I was so surprised. This has never happened to me before. I went over to their table and sat with them. Such delightful people! The lady who called me was 92, and was sitting with friends. I will never forget that. So you're probably wondering why I chose Atria. There were several reasons. The #1 reason was and is the warm people. The welcoming feeling, the warmth of the staff, the apartments. Especially the one moved into, it has more room than I realized. Thanks to a senior moving company, some treasured family furniture was able to fit into my apartment. The neighbors around me are friendly and have already introduced themselves, and it's quiet here and doesn't feel like a crowded, noisy apartment complex. There are 200 residents, so there's plenty of opportunity to connect with others. The decor is just lovely and warm color schemes on each floor. The food is just outstanding. They have a new chef since 2024 and I'm told it has made a big change for the better . Nothing tastes "institutional". It tastes like dining in a fine restaurant. The food is seasoned but not spicy. Fresh vegetables and fruits are used. Food can be ordered to go. The menus have a wide variety of food, something for everyone. And the rent is more reasonable than the other facilities I toured. Another benefit is the heated indoor pool. Very few places have this. Nearly all have an outdoor pool. Lots of advantages to an indoor one. I'm so glad I chose Atria!!! Obviously I have not mentioned all the wonderful benefits of living here, but for more information, give Atria a call to find out more. Or better yet, come visit us!!

My parents lived here for 3 1/2 years. My dad passed a year ago, and not one person in management offered condolences to my mother. The general manager, Sam , did however call my mother into his office to give her a fat rent increase instead of reducing the rent for having one less person in a one bedroom. He was an awful human being who never comes out of his office. The facility is very tired. Atria management promised renovations every year, but they never get around to it. The common areas are really showing age. The rent started out at decent price, but they raised the rent 12-15% every year, and it was very high priced compared to other similar buildings by the time my mother moved out. Then they didn’t prorate her rent properly last month squeezing a few extra hundred out of her. The residents are fantastic, and I would have moved my mother out years ago if not for the lovely residents. Atria had an amazing employee named Jose’ who knew every residents name including their families. He was the social director, and they fired him because he gave shampoo and cosmetic products as a door prize at one of the social events. Apparently this was against corporate policy, but they actually fired their most loved employee over a dumb rule. The food was above average for facilities of this type, and the wait staff was very friendly and cordial. It’s a shame the management does not care about the residents. Their assisted care has an awful reputation so we made the decision to move prior to our level of care needs increasing. It’s corporate, for profit, and you realize that pretty quickly. I can’t recommend this place if you’re looking for people to care for your parents. All management sees is $$. Best of luck in your search.

My husband and I moved here 2&1/2 years ago. I have many good things to say about Independent Senior Living here. A large majority of residents are happy living here and are very friendly. All facilities like this have more women than men, but we do have a lot of couples and a number of single men. Food here has always been decent, but since Mounia Kahli took over as Director of Culinary Services about a year ago the food has gotten very good. She and her staff are responsive to resident suggestions and are working hard to please us all at mealtime. We are fortunate to have two main choices at all meals plus there is a large always available menu so everyone should be able to find items on the menu they like. We are also blessed to have a lot scheduled entertainment and planned activities. Transportation is available for doctor appointments and local shopping. Another plus is we have underground parking.
