    They cannot seem to keep employees. Absolutely no one was on hand this past Sunday. Residents came down for breakfast to a dark kitchen. A resident went out and got coffee and donuts for everyone. The day before there was only a high school girl there that was hired to be a server and she didn’t know what to do. She found cereal, milk and juice for the residents. No manager, no “chef,” no one was there. This is a community of seniors looking for a safe, happy environment. It just has not proven to be.

    We visited Asher Point without any idea of what to expect, and needing a next step for my 73 year old father and his changing needs. Brenda, the executive director, treated us like gold and led us through every step. She was there at the entrance to greet us, took us through a detailed tour of the facility and was extremely patient and kind. She answered all of our questions and eased our minds completely. This location is lucky to have such an amazing woman working here and she made the difference when making our decision on which place to settle our family member. I feel confident that my dad will be taken care of and have everything he needs while living here. We chose Asher Point because of the excellent amenities, great people and competitive pricing options. Throughout the tour, we met the chef, housekeepers and other residents, all of which were welcoming and friendly. This place has activities, healthy well rounded meals, a fitness center and much more! The remodeled rooms were the perfect layout and had great accessibility, exactly what we were looking for to match his current needs. Brenda also offered future options with their sister properties, so when my dad’s needs change, we will have a plan in place to work with. I can’t say enough great things about our experience, and the employees took a huge weight off of our shoulders. Thank you to Brenda especially for all of her commitment to the residents and easing their lifestyle, and to Victoria for her work done securing the financial details and follow through on our experience. I highly recommend Asher Point as a great place for independent living and as a next step for seniors who need a great social community and a staff that cares.

    Food was good, staff was nice. There is concern over a $1000 deposit for a small bird. This seems excessive for an elderly couple on a budget. Can we work something out? Please show some empathy. Thank you.

    Sister in law moved into this location. After 2 weeks of living there the kitchen, dinning room, maintenance and director and assistant director all quit. Ownership has not given the residents timely communication as to what is going on with the desertion of the entire staff.
