Asbury Towers Retirement Community

Father in law was patient here 3 years ago and received very poor care. Received a bill for over $18,000 and to this day never received an invoice showing hospice, Medicare and private nursing home payments. Have asked over multiple times and no response. Called the business office less than month ago and different employee would not help my husband and I . We have a local lawyer involved and have an appointment Monday with well known law firm to get medical records and billing info. Never received copies of medical re odds and went in personally to look at copies and no success. Also, first day of admission we were told by nursing management team and physical therapy team that therapy would be useless and didn’t even try. Do not recommend this facility. For a not for profit facility the bill for one month does not reflect this. Absolutely do not recommend this facility.

Our father was admitted to Asbury on Hospice Care. I was a little concerned at first because it seemed a pretty dated facility; however, I could not have been happier with the care my father received. The staff was incredibly caring, patient and thorough. From the Janitorial staff to the Director, they went above and beyond to let us know they cared.

Asbury has the best residents and staff! The care is excellent and the food is fantastic! Many activities for the residents, and the families are always involved. It is truly one of the best facilities around Putnam County.

I would like to take a moment to give all the thanks in the world to the wonderful Nurses and CNA's at Asbury Towers for all the love and care they have given my Grandmother. This is her second stay (first being short term second being long term). During her second stay she has had ALOT of ups and downs. The CNA's and Nurses have done everything possible to make sure she is taken care of properly. She loves them like they were family of her own. She had a medical issue within the past few months that had required her to have extensive wound care. Being a diabetic we were obviously very concerned about her getting the care that she needs for it. She has had bad wounds in the past that have nearly caused her to lose her limb due to inproper care and lack of knowledge by another facility. But let me just tell you how absolutely wonderful she has been healing. The wound care that she has been receiving has been absolutely amazing. Ashley has been a major major factor in the wound care that she has been receiving and we cannot be more grateful for her knowledge and prompt treatment for my Grandmothers wound. If anyone knows us they know how extensive her wound was in the beginning and now just a few months later it is almost completely healed. She still has a little time left with bandages and wound care but for her being diabetic we are absolutely amazed at the healing progress she has made. I honestly do not know what we would do if she didn't have all these wonderful people helping her on a day to day. Especially with her wound care! Thank you to all of you ladies working the floor and making sure she is loved and cared for. ❤
