Arbor Terrace Morris Plains

My mother lived at Arbor Terrace for eight years and truly considered it her home. In fact, one day after being away, she remarked how good it felt to be home, which meant so much to our family. She began her time in the Bridges neighborhood, where she enjoyed a full and active life. There were plenty of activities, outings, opportunities to make friends, and caring staff members who treated residents with kindness and respect. As my mother’s health declined, she transitioned to memory care, in the Evergreen neighborhood. During this stage of her life, she continued to receive excellent care from a compassionate and dedicated staff. When she required hospitalization and her health began to deteriorate rapidly, Mary Laverty, the director of Evergreen, went above and beyond to ensure that my mother could return to Arbor Terrace—the place she considered her home. Once she was placed on hospice care, our family had, as always, 24-hour access so we could be with her whenever we wished. We were deeply grateful for the support, kindness, and understanding shown to us during this difficult time. My mother passed away at the age of 92, surrounded by caring people in the place she loved and considered her home. Our family will always be thankful to the staff of Arbor Terrace for the compassion, dignity, and care they provided throughout her eight years there.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Arbor Terrace Morris Plains, where my grandparent currently resides. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth and genuine care that the staff provides every single day. The team is incredibly attentive, compassionate, and professional. They go above and beyond to make sure residents feel comfortable, respected, and truly at home. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. There are always engaging activities, social opportunities, and wellness programs that keep residents active and connected. Overall, Arbor Terrace Morris Plains has exceeded all of our expectations. We are incredibly grateful for the love and support they provide, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming, and high-quality senior living community.

Arbor Terrace of Morris Plains is much more than a beautiful senior community, it’s a community filled with people who truly care about the residents and the families they serve. From the moment you walk in and are so warmly greeted, you immediately feel the commitment and love that Arbor Terrace is filled with. My mom moved into the Evergreen Memory Care neighborhood four months ago, and we are so grateful for the love and care she receives each and everyday. They have a very skilled team with the experience and compassion to ensure that every resident is happy and well cared for. They have provided such comfort and peace of mind for our family and we thank you Arbor for all that you do every single day! Arbor Terrace truly is a wonderful senior community…no reason to look anywhere else!
