My older sister was a customer of this facility in Pawleys Island memory care unit. Don’t ever leave your loved ones there. Care for her was just pathetic! I was hospitalized for 8 weeks this past summer for a medical condition and the facility assured me they would keep a close eye on her while I was rehabilitating. Long story short, she lost 25 pounds in the 44 days I was away. She was totally neglected. If she told them she wasn’t hungry, they let her go without eating. She’s small to begin with, so she couldn’t have eaten much of anything to lose that much weight in such a short period of time. She was down to 93 lbs. when I was able to get back to her! Total nonsense! She also ended up in the hospital one night because they claim she must have fallen. I’m sure that was because she was dehydrated and weak from not eating. One of the nurses admitted to me that my sister just quit eating during the time I was in the hospital. No one bothered to contact me and let me know what was going on. My sister has dementia and can’t make healthy decisions for herself. That’s why we placed her there, so a trained facility would make good decisions for her. I generally visited my sister every few days, bringing her back to our home for a few hours, so my wife and I could give her a shower and clean clothes. They couldn’t seem to do this for her, and they couldn’t even change her diaper. We often marked her diaper and she would be wearing the same one a few days later when we picked her up. The manager admitted to these issues and promised to do better, but I couldn’t take it anymore. I forgave these folks way too many times. My sister deserved better, so I moved her to a wonderful facility in Murrells Inlet. She is back to 112 lbs.! I could go on and on, but trust me and don’t be fooled by this horrible place!

I can't say enough good things about Arbor Landing! We placed my mother in memory care for a respite visit and had the best experience! Every single staff member we interacted with was amazing - very caring, patient and just lovely! And Andrea is incredible helping navigate the process, deal with insurance, etc. When the time comes this is where we will be placing my mother.

All of the staff are very pleasant and took exceptional care of my father-in-law during his time there. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Lots of activities for residents each day and great meal options all day!

Andrea is absolutely amazing. She has been in the industry for a long time. She conducts herself in a professional manner at all times. She is a huge advocate for her families and assisted them with making important decisions about their loved one. I cannot say enough about her knowledge and expertise in making the resident feel completely comfortable about their new home. I would recommend her to any family needing assisted living or memory care. She is truly an angel!
