I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received from Assistant Wellness Director Dee Jones. I recently brought a matter to the attention of a staff member, which was subsequently reported to Director Jones. She promptly contacted me to discuss the issue in detail, demonstrating her immediate commitment to addressing the concern. Not only did she listen attentively, but she also took swift action. Within an hour, she informed me that she had begun to resolve the problem, and within 24 hours, the issue was completely rectified. Director Jones' proactive approach and efficient resolution were truly commendable. Her dedication to addressing concerns swiftly and effectively is a testament to her professionalism and commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive environment. The med techs and aides are wonderful. The majority of them are vested in the residents and really care for them. BUT now that this facility changed over from Anthology to American House the leadership team is very disappointing. You are never able to speak with anyone nor do they return calls. When you are seeing issues with your loved one indicating that something is going on there does not seem to be any concern. I understand what and how an assisted living works and that they are not a skilled care facility but there does not seem to be any ownership or CARE from this leadership. Many employees have shared their frustration as well. Lastly according to the residents the food is lackluster and undesirable, but what would one expect when monthly meals are planned well over a year out and not altered per resident council requests. The 3 stars are SOLEY because of the care staff. Very disappointed American House.

Plain and simple this facility does not deliver what they promise. Executive staff unprofessional speaking to patients inappropriately. Starts out friendly rapidly declined when resident needed help which they thought was too much. Then was told all assisted living places are like this some worse.. I would move your loved one in here if they need absolutely NO help at all.

This Assisted Living is like a 5 Star Hotel! The Management is top of the line! The care is professional! The food is 5 Star! There is nothing to compare to Stonecrest of Rochester Hills! I am there visiting my sister a lot and gotten to know every one! From the manager, Mike who is one great manager and always available to Huda the housekeeper, and the aides who are friendly and efficient! The nurses on staff and the doctor who comes in from his private practice once a month, give quality care! Today is The Grand Opening! I wish this facility much success as it is one the BEST as I have seen many before that could not compare. They have already earned the 5 stars I gave them! Take a tour at your convenience if you are thinking of a beautiful place to live or know of someone who is. See for yourself the many amenities that come with STONECREST OF ROCHESTER HILLS!
