Working here is hell! If you are not apart of Jermaine and his click you are doomed! Jermaine supposed to be in management. He runs around telling everyone business like a girl .The head of Human Resources sends emails to staff about other staff termination. There is no privacy here! The med techs are scheduled for 8 hours and only do two hours of work! If it is short staffed the sit back and watch you work and offer no hand to assist the staff that is working short! Right Linda?

It is very difficult to live through your parent’s decline due to dementia and to navigate the changing level of care needed. The staff at Cedarbrook has been so caring and helpful transitioning my mom to a higher level of care. They went above and beyond to make our family and my mom feel safe and welcome. I highly recommend this community.

My observations and interactions at Cedarbrook for the past three years - it started off good but care is going downhill rapidly! The facility itself, the meals and the activities are wonderful; however, the care to residents is not worth the money and getting worse. Sadly, my grandfather's care, for over $6,000 a month in "assisted living", is barely acceptable. The staff are to assist with showers, administer medicines, remind and assist for appointments within the facility. Most every time I visit him on 3rd floor, the staff occupy a large table (for the residents) playing on their phones, eating meals, and "visiting" with each other. My grandfather and a few others I know have not been bathed in over 2-3 weeks and wearing same clothes weeks on end! Relatives of residents have had to hire outside "helpers" for their family members to have their basic hygiene needs met. I found his medicine on the bathroom counter in a little plastic cup - vital meds - part of the reason he is here to have meds personally administered - not placed on a countertop! When housekeeping leaves for the day, feces on the carpet, furniture and shower is left until the next day - the nurses aides refuse to clean. Calling the nurses desk is frustrating, staff are clearly annoyed to be bothered by my phone calls and always end the calls without so much as a "goodbye". As God is my witness, three separate staff members recently admitted they were "getting rid" of the lazy inept staff and had already fired a few. Staffing needs a huge reset, management needs to take immediate responsibility and remedy this unhealthy and negative situation. I will be monitoring and if no improvement is noted, I will contact LARA to investigate this facility and their licensing.

I am one of the dental hygienists that visits this community and it is hands down one if the most fabulously run facilities I have visited. Extremely impressed with the staff and cleanliness. Front desk is so sweet and social work is incredibly talented and kind.
