I recently toured this community while exploring independent living options for my mom, and I was truly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in learning about my mom’s needs and lifestyle. I was given a tour by Nora who went above and beyond. She was very knowledgeable and put me at ease The community itself is beautiful, clean, and full of life. Residents seemed happy and engaged, which meant a lot to us. We especially loved the variety of activities and the sense of independence they encourage while still offering support if needed. Although we’re still in the decision process, this tour gave us a lot of peace of mind. It’s comforting to know there are places like this where my mom could truly feel at home. Highly recommend taking a tour if you’re considering independent living for a loved one

I truly enjoy the staff and physical therapy working with my mother. She can be a hand full. My mother had an unfortunate fall the 2nd night she was in care and the staff was amazing, quick response and call 911 to make sure she was ok. They also contacted me to let me know the details, I was currently out of town. I was very pleased and grateful.

I don't know that I can accurately convey my appreciation for all the staff of American House. My dad was brought to their memory care as he was rapidly starting to decline. The staff from administration, front desk (Lara especially), Norah, Rod, Katie, Hilary, Michaela, Ashley, nurses, dietary were amazing. Not only were they so sweet in caring for my dad, they cared for my mom and I during a very difficult time. Sadly my dad passed within a few days of his arrival and my only regret was that we didn't get him there much sooner. Thank you Burlington Creek for your compassion and kindness. You have no idea how much it helped my mother and I. Forever grateful!!

This place is terrifying. My grandfather laid on the bathroom floor for God knows how long pressing the button to no avail. My uncle showed up and found him. Their excuse is the button wasn't working, that's not an excuse. They're responsible for your loved ones and have no accountability to their actions. He was there left for dead and had to be rushed to the hospital.
