    The new General Manager Valerie is very knowledgeable. She is very business like but caring. She has improved Garden Village immensely since being here. I have been here 8 years, She is the best one we have had in years.

    I was a delivery driver and had an older lady try to open the door out of the kindness of her heart for me but about fell to where I had to catch her. I understand this is an independent living environment but I believe staff should be in the lobby 24/7. I called and spoke with a supervisor she told me “well hopefully she would have had her button on her. That they are only open from 7-7” . Remind you I was in the lobby for a good 10-15 minutes and didn’t see anyone other than my customer and her. My thoughts are, these people should have access to help or at least someone to assist them outside their homes at anytime of the day, at least to where if they holler someone could help. If you care about your family, think about your choice wisely. I do not recommend this place and I based on what I saw I would not want my family member in such a place.

    WARNING!!!! If you care for your loved ones, DO NOT PUT THEM AT HOLIDAY GARDEN VILLAGE! I did and my aunt experienced, with other seniors: 1. Theft from their rooms by staff 2. Witnessed in dining are at dinner a woman get beat in the face by a man. Management did NOTHING. Nor, did they contact family to say what happened and what they are going to do for added protections for the residents. 3. Accounting issues: Monies withdrawn from my account with permission from account holder. 4. Upon having my family member moved out, management NEVER sent a walkthrough checklist, video walkthrough nor have they returned the deposit after 35 days. According to the State of MO Laws, the landlord has 30 days to return the deposit, or the deposit amount to refund is DOUBLED! 5. Withdrew without asking $8,000.00 6. New management says they’re working on deposit, but all the do is avoid and ignore. Legalities will take place. 7. I’m reporting this facility to the State of MO. 8. The food is awful! DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!

    I am just an outsider, but a professional in my field&i have been consistently coming here for a year now for my client&I have noticed that there is a lot of pot holes from the very beginning of the entry from the street all the way up the road coming into the circle drive that meets the front doors,as well as the road that also goes to the back entrance &there are numerous pot holes&broken pavement,I would like to know when will it be possible that they will get the necessary care that's needed? because clearly it's been a year at least to my knowledge& that they are just getting worse over more time&it is going to do damage to anyones car that has to travel up these roads to get here , I'm inquiring because I personally have to play "musical pot holes"_zig zag in&out so I don't get a flat tire or do damage to my inner&outter tie rods which can be very expensive to be fixed..thanks
