Both of my parents lived in Amber Lights. The care that they both received to the end was 10 Stars. My father-in-law is in need of assisted living and we took him there. He spent a lot of time there visiting my parents and he knows how good it is. Our tour with Kelly was also 10 Stars. He's perfect for his position and I felt that way about all of the staff. My hope is he will decide to go there. I am very grateful for Amber Lights, to me other places don't compare.

My father and his girlfriend shared an apartment here for 2 years. My father constantly complained about privacy and the staff walking in their room unannounced. I did verify this was happening during my visits there. I brought up the concern to the "Executive Director" Teresa but it continued. Towards the end of their tendency I found a pressure sore forming on my father's girlfriend's heel (See the photo below). After I found the bed sore I decided that this was not an appropriate care facility for my father. So I took him out of Amber lights back home because of the high cost, neglect, and his complaints about the staff being disrespectful of their privacy. They charge a lot, but when concern is are brought up to a manager, they ignored our families concerns. I would not recommend this facility.

My husband and I both loved the tour and lunch. Amber Lights is the ideal retirement home. I felt like I was at a resort with all the amenities. I'm hoping we can afford to join you some time in the future.

Not for dementia patients who are active and social. If your loved one requires engagement and monitoring this is not a suitable housing solution. They do not have the level of care needed for dementia patients who still want to engage with a community. They are misleading and do not work with clients in complex care situations. Do not recommend.
