I have been with Amber Glen for a year now and I absolutely adore the work we do here. To have a community so focused on memory care and diagnoses is something I love being a part of. Been here for almost 2 years and this is by far the best facility I’ve ever came in counter with!! Staff is caring and loving we treat our residents like our own family and welcome all our new residents with open arms and lots of love!! Great food for residents & wonderful activities to keep them entertained and social!

I've had a loved one in this facility for ~2 years and I have so many horror stories about the treatment that I can't even begin to list them. Also, I'm afraid that if I give details about the extreme neglect endured, the staff will trace back to me who my loved one is and will take it out on them. Suffice it to say that basic human care needs are NOT met - the resident's hydration, the resident's cleanliness, the staff's awareness of the resident's serious pain or illness.... But what's prompting me to write this review at this particular point is that Amber Glen just notified my loved one's family that my their monthly bill was increasing by nearly $1,000 PER MONTH. This kind of increase should be against the law. There are residents there whose family members are already paying thousands for private caregivers to come in and provide the basic care needs that this facility fails to provide. My loved one's family isn't that wealthy - they have no idea how they're going to afford to pay for the care that our loved one DOESN'T receive.
