Alto Grayslake

Today, Mom turned 94, so we brought cupcakes to celebrate with the residents and the staff on the 3rd floor. Julie arranged to bring as many people as possible into the dining area so we could sing to her. Played some games and had a great time. Julie is always the best when we have any questions and cares for our mom as if it were hers. The activities make it so nice for the residents to pass the time of day and feel involved and entertained throughout the each day. Thank you, Julie and staff, for being our extended family when we are not there. Always smiles and hellos when we arrive.

I recently toured Alto Assisted Living and had a wonderful experience. My first interaction was with Kristine, who provided a wealth of information and helped me schedule a tour. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see a personalized welcome sign waiting for me. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The front desk receptionist was kind and helpful, and Mike gave me a thorough tour of the community. I never felt rushed and had plenty of time to ask questions. The facility was very clean, had a pleasant atmosphere, and even smelled fresh and inviting. One thing that really stood out was their packed activity calendar, offering a wide variety of events and programs to keep residents engaged and entertained. Overall, I was very impressed with the staff, environment, and amenities. I would highly recommend Alto Assisted Living to anyone looking for a caring and active community for themselves or a loved one.

I’ve been coming to Alto 3 days a week since last summer to care for a client I’ve had for almost 2 years. I’ve gotten to know the facility really well, and I’m consistently impressed. Alto offers so many great activities — my client especially loves the cooking classes and exercise programs. The physical therapists are amazing and have been so helpful with keeping him mobile and active. What really stands out are the celebrations with live music. I see residents dancing, smiling, and enjoying the music and food. It’s beautiful to watch them so engaged and happy. They also make sure to celebrate everyone’s birthday. They don’t forget anyone, and it means so much to the residents to feel seen and celebrated. The staff here go above and beyond. Mike and Julie are always so helpful and kind, whether I need assistance with my client or just have a quick question. They’re responsive, compassionate, and you can tell they genuinely care. As someone who sees a lot of facilities, Alto stands out for its warm environment, dedicated team, and how they truly celebrate their residents. Highly recommend to any family looking for quality memory care.
