Alto of Grayslake is a beautiful, clean, and welcoming environment. There are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. Everyone looks to be well cared for. The staff is amazing and friendly. I would recommend highly recommend to anyone considering assisted living or memory care.

Our mother was admitted into the Memory Care facility at Alto two months ago. Not only is the nursing staff AMAZING...but all the other departments/staff members are equally amazing. I take my mom for walks throughout the property and every staff member greats her BY NAME with a hello as we pass by. The facility is very clean and updated. Definitely more of a Hotel vibe than a nursing facility. It is not perfect, nothing is, but they come pretty close. Dementia is brutal and heartbreaking, Alto definitely has brought some peace and calm into our families' lives in an unimaginable chapter of our story. So very grateful for the "Earth Angels" of Alto, a real blessing.

Our Aunt lived at Alto in both the Assisted Living and Memory Care units. Julie, activity director for Memory Care, is so great! Lots of interaction, activities and celebrations. My aunts dog was also welcome on the floor to visit and say hello to all residents. He loved to visit, meet new friends and still be a big part of her life. Mike, activity director for Assisted Living is wonderful also! Our family attended most of the family nights and they were so fun, Oktoberfest especially! Many thanks also to the women running the front desk, the nurses, Chef Dave and Elizabeth in the kitchen too!

If I could give 10 stars,I would!! The staff are fantastic! I have a relative at Alto. The facility is beautiful. The staff are ALL very engaging, and attentive, from the top on!! Shout out to Elizabeth, Alexis (Amazing!!), Diann, Gette, Sydney, Mike, Cynthia, Jacqueline, Jeffrey, Chris, And so so so many others!! Every single member has been super, and that includes Chef and cleaning staff toooo!! Thank you for everything, you’ve ALL made my brother’s transition very smooth. ❤️
