Allerton house has been a wonderful fit for my husband in particular and our family in general. He has met some fabulous "mates" and is enjoying the social/exercise activities. The staff are friendly, caring, and attentive to his individual needs. We are very happy that the whole environment at Allerton has made the transition out of the home comfortable and welcoming.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Allerton House. I moved my 85-year-old mother from Portland, OR to Allerton House Hingham in August. She didn't know a single person, but the staff at AH made her feel right at home immediately. All the staff at AH is amazing, but I want to give a special acknowledgment to Ann-Louise, the incredible activities coordinator, and to Rich, the wonderful chef, who comes up with creative ways to work around Mom's gluten intolerance. Most of all, Mom really enjoys the array of outings and activities on offer. She started participating in everything and anything right away and particularly loves the weekly lunches out at local restaurants. She has now made several friends and looks forward to chatting with everyone in the afternoons at the pub. Also, the decor at AH is very lovely, and they go all out to decorate for the various holidays. It truly has become Mom's home, and I can tell she enjoys living there. We were very lucky to find Allerton House!

Our mother has been a resident in The Cove (memory care unit) for almost one year. The transition was difficult, but staff were unbelievably supportive. They know all of her little intricacies and can accommodate her needs. They are very friendly, caring, and professional. When issues arise, we are informed immediately, and they can be addressed. An absolutely wonderful place for seniors with memory issues.

This place is so warm and welcoming. My father is in the memory care wing called the Cove. The group activities are geared just for them. The staff is incredibly nice. I don't have to worry about a thing. I know he is happy and healthy. I am so glad I picked this place.
