Linden Ponds

My mother was a resident of Linden ponds for over 6 years- from 2018 until she passed in 2024. She eventually experienced every “level”, beginning with her independent living one-bedroom apartment to memory care in Rose Court. Her apartment was in a good location with a nice wooded view. She very much enjoyed the different excursions and made some new friends. There were many, many clubs to join, and the dining rooms and food service were really quite good! (I joined her for many meals and can personally attest to this) Covid was rough, but we appreciated how the staff did their best to keep everyone healthy while allowing residents some autonomy and freedom (residents were able to leave, but no guests could enter). As her cognitive abilities declined, she moved to Assisted Living in Rose Court, and then finally to Memory Care. Staff were lovely, and they took very good care of her. At these care levels, the monthly cost was quite substantial ($22,000 by the end), but we were reassured by the LP model that nothing changes even if a resident has run through their assets. This hadn’t happened by the time of her death, and we received her refund within the time period we’d initially been promised.

While reading the reviews, I've noticed that Linden Ponds only responds kindly to the people who give them a positive review and seem to ignore the people who are not satisfied with how their loved one is being treated or other issues. I was considering scheduling an appointment to meet with someone but it's definently concerning that those who express dissatisfaction are ignored. I am very curious as to why this is?

My mother and her partner love it. Truly. Active friendly and kind community. I've been impressed with the attention to detail and care that's provided. Beautiful nature all around, nice amenities, very personal and meaningful life there. Lots of great activities they love and genuinely truly appreciate.

My mother has lived here for two years. Day after day, we continue to witness abysmal negligence and absolutely disgusting conditions. I have several photos of my mothers room condition, including soiled briefs and past-expired food. The nursing staff is completely and utterly incompetent; their level of compassion and empathy for those who require their help is comparable to that of the devil. This is far past a medical and sanitation concern; this is now a legal matter. For the price, it’s pathetic. I’ve gotten better room service at a Motel 6. If you have a loved one that require special care, I 100% recommend looking elsewhere. Linden Ponds (Rose Court) have zero integrity and have done absolutely nothing to improve the care of my mother. I feel for those who have loved ones here.
