We had to make a hasty decision for our dad post-stroke. Aegis Corte Madera, as many other assisted living facilities, fit all the criteria. Our trepidation of staffing and day to day care has been quelled by the genuine care, variety of activities, health standards, & enthusiasm from the Administration on down. The food has also been fantastic, cooked and prepared from the heart, and we frequently dine-in with our dad, which improves the overall quality of our visits with him. Every resident's family has different expectations, and as our own family has learned to understand and adapt to this new living situation, we've realized the gem of service that Aegis Living provides here in Corte Madera.

When faced with transitioning our mom out of her home and away from her city of birth, we felt a tremendous weight. It was very difficult for the whole family. We visited 15 or more senior living homes with lots of good and bad elements. Then, we walked into Aegis Corta Madera and a weight was lifted the moment we walked in the door. My sister and I held each other's hand a bit tighter and looked directly at each other. We knew this was a perfect match. We celebrate 1 year this month and I swear that Aegis has reversed my mom's age! The activities director, the chef, the support staff, the GM, they are all amazing individuals that not only care, they are devoted to their life's work and it shows!

Aegis Living provides a level of care that is hard to find. The staff is incredibly professional yet personable, and they do an amazing job of creating a warm and inclusive environment. The meals, the activities, and most importantly, the sense of community makes all the difference.

To start I have to say it took me a while to find the right place for my mom since I knew what I was doing was the hardest thing to do. After so many places I visited once I saw Aegis I knew this was the place it was so inviting! The staff, management and nurse care are amazing. My mom is very happy there and so are we! Just knowing how much she's loved, cared for respected is the most important to our family.
