My mom was in there for a few years and it was a good place at first and we loved it! However when she passed away recently they made us clean out all her stuff immediately or we would be charged $70 a day as soon as the funeral home picked her up! I wouldn’t recommend them any more!

Addington of Lees Summit has various activities for their residents. The community has a very homey and comforting feeling about it. Decorating for the seasons and really cares about their residents having a comfortable and fun place to live out their days.

Called to ask if they were long term or assisted on a saturday at 15:31. They said they couldnt answer that question, they just answered the phone and to call back on Monday. Went by to just see the facility. Front sign said: Assisted living and Memory care. Ambulance and Fire Truck were out front, decided not to attempt to go in as likely staff were busy. However: opinion: every day people should know what your business does and be able to answer that question while providing resources for further information, and anytime definitely during weekends because they are typically low staffed, a person should be able to view a facility. The front architecture appeared well built.

Kayla the Med Tech here is not just a joy to talk to, but an absolute professional. She’s always attentive to the residents, always happy to help out and consistently goes above and beyond to keep the ball rolling here at Addington Place. She’s a one of a kind and a one in a million employee. She deserves the biggest raise tbh.
