WhiteStone: A Masonic and Eastern Star Community

My mother-in-law is currently in rehab at WhiteStone. She has a beautiful room with 3 windows. Every single staff member I have encountered has been exceptionally nice. My mother-in-law said everyone has been wonderful. We are particularly impressed with the therapy team who has got her up and moving when we weren't sure if she would be able to. When it came to choosing a place my mother-in-law said WhiteStone was her only choice. Thank you to all the staff at WhiteStone and what you have done for her as well as the other residents! A Daughter’s Review of Whitestone Retirement Community When my parents decided it was time to move into a retirement community, we visited several places — but none of them compared to Whitestone. They’ve now been living there for over a year, and I can confidently say that choosing Whitestone was one of the best decisions we ever made as a family. From the moment they moved in, the Whitestone team made the transition seamless and stress-free. They offered thoughtful suggestions on what would fit best in their new apartment, even helping with the process of downsizing and selecting what to bring. Knowing there’s extra storage available for each apartment gave us peace of mind as well. Whitestone is more than just a place to live — it’s a vibrant and caring community. Every day there’s something new for my parents to enjoy, from engaging art and exercise classes to using the workout equipment or taking water exercise classes in the beautiful indoor pool. They’ve also taken part in social events, bridge games, and outings to local shows — all organized by the community and made easily accessible with scheduled bus trips. The on-site amenities are truly exceptional. There’s a bistro that serves breakfast, lunch & early dinner. In addition, there is a full service restaurant for dinner — which offers the option of dinner being delivered straight to their room if they’d like a quiet evening in. There’s even a small commissary for daily necessities, a stunning chapel, and one of my mom’s favorite spots: the library with its cozy fireplace, where she loves to read and unwind. Health and wellness are a clear priority at Whitestone. Having an on-site nurse and pharmacy (with a pharmacist!) gives me so much reassurance as a daughter. Regular cleaning service every other week helps keep their home fresh, and the entire community is immaculately maintained — clean, odor-free, and very well-kept. Communication is another area where Whitestone shines. From daily updates shown on resident-floor TVs, to email notifications and mailbox memos, my parents always know what’s going on. It helps them feel connected, and helps me stay informed too. But above all else, it’s the people at Whitestone who truly make this place feel like home. The staff is beyond dedicated — they genuinely care about each resident, and it shows in every interaction. My parents have made wonderful friends here, and they’ve grown more socially and emotionally connected than I could have imagined. As a daughter, I feel so grateful knowing that my parents are safe, active, and genuinely happy. Whitestone isn’t just where they live — it’s where they thrive.

My father was in the Whitestone community for two years before his death this month. We could not have asked for more compassionate, skilled, care while he was alive. The care center is immaculate and beautiful. The staff are exceptional people and they love their residents. I cannot praise Whitestone enough. We are eternally grateful for their kindnesses.

We recently visited Whitestone to see a friend, and I was thoroughly impressed with the facility. It was exceptionally clean and well-organized, which made for a welcoming and comfortable environment. The staff was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to ensure that our friend was well taken care of. I would highly recommend this community to anyone in need of care, and I’ll definitely be suggesting it to my friends and family.
