Our family had a truly positive experience with Whitby Pointe during a very difficult and unexpected time. When my mother had to be moved quickly after her previous facility closed, the team at Whitby stepped in and provided stability, compassion, and immediate support when we needed it most. The staff consistently treated my mother with kindness, patience, and respect, and that meant everything to our family. It was clear that they genuinely care about their residents and go above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and safe. We are especially grateful for the leadership team, especially Nycole Wohleking, who worked with us on pricing and did everything they could to help accommodate our situation. That level of understanding and flexibility does not go unnoticed. We are incredibly thankful for everything Whitby Pointe has done for our mother and our family, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and supportive assisted living community.

Wow! Visiting Whitby Pointe Senior Living with my friend was one of those moments that stays with you. I walked in expecting a typical tour, but what I found was a community that genuinely feels like home. If I ever needed a place for my mom or dad, this is exactly the kind of environment I would want for them. The food alone surprised me in the best way. It didn’t feel like “facility food” at all—everything looked fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and honestly something I’d be happy to sit down and eat myself. You can tell the culinary team takes pride in making meals that are both comforting and enjoyable. The caregiving stood out even more. Every staff member we met was warm, patient, and fully present. They didn’t just greet residents—they *knew* them. You could see the relationships, the trust, and the genuine care in the way they interacted. It felt like watching extended family take care of one another, not employees doing a job. And then there are the activities, which were so much more vibrant than I expected. From creative classes to social gatherings to wellness programs, there was a real sense of energy and engagement. It’s the kind of place where residents don’t just live—they thrive, connect, and stay active in ways that truly enrich their days. Walking out, I remember thinking: If my parents ever needed support, I would feel completely at peace knowing they were here. Whitby Pointe isn’t just a senior living community—it’s a place filled with heart, dignity, and joy.

We have found the perfect place for our mom. We were taking by surprise by the need for a sudden move! Our 93 year old mom was having a very difficult time the the process. we visited several facilities and then we walked into Whitby Pointe Senior Living facility. WOW!!! So wonderful! So personable! So friendly! So efficient and professional! We were looking for a one story facility, a smaller facility without going with a group home. We found everything at Whitby Pointe!! From the first meeting, through the move in process and 30 days later we have been so pleased. The staff, and I mean all the staff, are wonderful. They have taken mom into their family atmosphere. She is not just a resident but a member of the community. The staff acknowledges her independence and partners with her for her care. She is engaged and comfortable. Her apartment has lots of room! We were able to bring her "treasures " and create a home not just a place to live. Thank you to all the staff.
