Westchester Gardens Health & Rehabilitation

Good to see so many visitors in this facility. We were greeted by a friendly lady, who helped me sign in, as it was my first time. The security was appreciated, using a code to enter the hallway. All areas were clean, not cluttered, and most of all there was no ‘nursing home odor’!!! Our friend told us she was getting very good care, and the staff are kind and considerate. Her only complaint was the food (we didn’t see her while a meal was served).

My 93 year old dad had to be hospitalized for 12 days while on a business trip (yes - not a typo!) 1500 miles from home, and all alone. Westchester went above and beyond arranging for a transfer on a Sunday, making him feel comfortable, and providing excellent care. Through the hard work and dedication of all of the staff he recovered after only 10 days, and was well enough to fly back home. I enthusiastically recommend.

Westchester Gardens is very clean, staff is professional and caring. Administrators are responsive and courteous. I feel that my mother is safe and well cared for. My mother looks better each time I see her. Probably the best in a long time. She is enjoying activities and socializing. Not only is she getting excellent care from excellent staff, she seems happy.

My mother was here for almost 3 weeks. The staff were the most amazing people I’ve ever encountered in this type of facility. Mom was treated so gently and compassionately by every single staff member that had interaction with her. They would even come in just to say hi, give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. The facility is very clean, does not smell, and is cheerful. Mom loved the food and said it was more than she could eat. I highly recommend this rehab center.
