The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and my dad enjoys the food and the social aspect of living here! There are times when I believe the carpets could be cleaner in the hallways and there have been a few times when the smell of urine in the hallways is very noticeable. But, the atmosphere is very nice.

My in-laws moved here September 2023. I love their apartment on the garden level. They have a great view of the manicured lawns and get to see the wildlife, deer, squirrels and rabbits often. This floor offers bingo, exercise and chapel which is super convenient for my mother in law using a walker. They have 3 meals a day which they say is usually pretty good and they have no complaints. They were paired with another couple to dine with being new and that has made for good conversation at meal time. I’m grateful we found this place with the excellent nursing staff and aides. We visit our family often and all the time the place is clean and staff welcomes us with smiles. Also convenient to doctors, hospitals and shopping. We recommend anyone looking for assisted living services to check West Shores out.
