My mom recently moved into The Point and has now been living here for around two months. She is settling in nicely and has enjoyed her experience so far. Her room is reasonably priced, lovely and extremely comfortable. She has plenty of room and is very happy with it. She is meeting new friends and has plenty of opportunities to play games, socialize, and go to special events. The entire staff has been great … from Ms. Ali’s tours and answering ALL of our questions with a lovely smile … to sweet Ms. Coby who helps with housekeeping. The front desk staff is also always very kind and patient. This gives me, as her daughter, peace of mind, knowing she is cared for and happy.

I can’t help but smile when Celeste was posted on Facebook for her kindness with her lil ducky’s. She has a big heart and it shows with love and support for family she has gained. She loves her job and the people she works with. Keep it up sweetie! You’re doing a great job!

In the search of finding a nice facility that still allowed my grandfather to be independent and have great amenities we found Waterview Independent Living! Ms. Alley V is amazing, she is very helpful and listens to your needs and wants! She made the moving transition so easy! Waterview would not be the same without her, she is a great Asset!!! Also concierge Leslie has been very helpful with questions or help I have needed! With these two ladies being at the Waterview I am very content with my grandfather living in his new apartment. I would definitely recommend this facility to others!

Warning about this community--Please be cautious! I want to share my 90yo mother's experience to warn others about this community. After my father passed, she has been in an extremely vulnerable state -- alone for the first time, and unaccustomed to making major decisions since my father had always handled them for her. She toured the community and their sales tactics (4 hour meeting which brought her to tears)convinced her that she needed to move in. She signed documents committing to a lease. As her Power of Attorney (though health proxy not yet invoked), I strongly believe that they took advantage of an elderly woman not accustom to making contractual decisions, not fully understanding the ramifications of signing the contract. A few days later, she realized that this wasn't the right decision and informed them that she wouldn't be moving in. Instead of understanding, they told her she was legally bound to pay both the non refundable community fee and the first months rent. They pressured her to come and stay any weekend during the next month so that she could get the feel of living there. She did stay one night but she still didn't want to move into their facility. Now, they won't return phone calls ( I've called 8 times, they have only returned my call 1 time to tell me that their meeting with their supervisor was the next day and they would get back with me after that meeting. They never called, and now that person no longer works there.) This company needs to rethink its sales approach and recognize that they are dealing with elderly individuals who may be experiencing some of the hardest moments of their lives. Compassion and ethical practices should come before profit. My mother has learned a heartbreaking and costly ($5k) lesson--one that no elderly person should have to endure. I urge others: Do not let your loved one tour a senior community alone. Make sure their Power of Attorney is there to support and guide them so they don't end up in the same situation.
