My Dad lived about 8 mos at Waterstone until his passing this week. He was in the hospital 3 weeks prior to his passing. Not once did anyone from Waterstone acknowledge my Dad's hospitalization or his passing. This is in huge contrast to Cascades where mom and dad lived until her death. When she was hospitalized, the Cascades staff asked about her and sent flowers on her passing. They also honored her with placing her picture at the front upon her death. It seems Waterstone was only interested in collecting apartment rent. As Dad was dying they told us that we needed things out of the a apartment by the end of the month, otherwise we would be charged daily until the room was empty. HE WAS STILL ALIVE when we were told that. The lack of true caring for the indivisible ended as soon as the move in was complete. The sales job was a good one in getting us there.

I can't speak to the living conditions, or services provided. However, I can speak to the sales team lack of effort. We had been looking for a place for my mom. I reached out to Waterstone on MULTIPLE occassions. I never got a call back. 2 months pass- Late last night, I received an email from the sales director offering to help. ???? Every other place we called, returned our calls immediately, tours set up and done within a few days. My Mom loved Waterstone when she and her husband toured it 2 years back, but weren't quite ready to leave their home. That's why our first call was to Waterstone. It's a shame sales doesn't seem to care much.

Visiting a relative in Greenville who was here short term for physical therapy, we thought this facility was above par for those convalescing or who are seeking a premiere assisted living residence.
