Our family has been interviewing and touring several different assisted living/independent living facilities in Visalia. While many were very nice they were unaffordable for long term. After an extensive tour and conversation with JD we committed that day. He has been amazing at staying in contact and addressing our needs and concerns for dad’s safety. It just felt right. While dad has not yet moved in I have no doubt our family will be very happy that our dad is in a wonderful community.

When I push my life alert button things happen. Emergency is here and staff is here (if it is between 7:30 am and 7;30 pm.) Personnel here, even if shorthanded, are pleasant. When short-handed at meal times the meal hour drags on longer than it should.

The staff and residents were very friendly and welcoming when I visited Walnut Park and took their thorough tour. I was treated to a good lunch with many choices in a very open and spacious dining room. The inside of the two bedroom apartments were nicely updated and a good layout, as a good price comparison with the many activities and amenities offered that my 90 year old Mom would want in a retirement community. Well located for getting transportation around Visalia also. A very happy and service oriented place.

I went to three different communities to find the perfect home for my grandma. I finally came across grandmas new home here at walnut park and she absolutely loves it here and is super happy with her new life. She loves the food and is having so much fun with the activities offered. Thank you walnut park for making my grandma super happy and comfortable !
