The community comprises 128 apartments for adults 55 and over — including studio apartments, one, two, and three-bedroom suites, and a variety of floor plans. Walnut Grove Retirement is all-inclusive, providing five-star services on a month-to-month basis. A single monthly charge includes all services, utilities, phone, cable, and internet.
Spacious common areas feature a 150-seat state-of-the-art theater, library, billiards and game room, conversation areas with fireplaces, concierge lounge with bar, flat-screen TV, game tables, superb fitness and exercise room facilities, spa area, laundry facility, and business center.
Residents savor the variety found in an industry-first all-inclusive Freedom Dining Program. With three fresh chef-prepared meals daily, residents can choose from a variety of menu options and dining experiences with flexible hours. Coffee, juice, ice cream, and snacks are available all day. Weekly housekeeping service is provided, along with transportation to and from appointments and shopping trips.
Numerous planned activities, social events, and travel opportunities abound. Live-in managers and concierge and valet services are available 24/7, ensuring resident safety. Every resident receives an emergency alert pendant, guaranteeing peace of mind to friends and family that their loved ones are protected during emergencies.
Pets are warmly welcome at Walnut Grove Retirement, with no additional pet deposit. A guest suite is available for residents’ family members to reserve for visits. A travel program whisks residents to any of Resort Lifestyle Communities’ other properties, where they can reserve a guest suite free for one week — meals included.
Fitness and wellness programs including aerobics, weight lifting, yoga, walking clubs, sittercises, and many more boost resident wellness. A beauty salon/barber shop is close on the property. I thoroughly enjoying my experience at Walnut Grove! The staff's dedication to providing exceptional service and creating a sense of community is truly commendable. The special events, like Wine and Dine a lovely touch, and the food it’s always delicious. The dining room staff is friendly and attentive, making sure your needs are met with a smile. The variety of activities and outings offered also seems to be help me feel engaged and connected. Most importantly, it's wonderful to feel like I’m alive again, thanks to the supportive environment at Walnut Grove. That's truly something to cherish!

My mom has been a resident of Walnut Grove Retirement Community for over 4 years. From the moment she moved in it has been such a welcoming community. All staff members are committed to helping the residents feel like family. Many staff members have gone beyond their job description and have visited residents who have been hospitalized and are quick with a hug or reassuring word. They have great activities to keep the residents active either in the facility or on bus trips. I really appreciate the transportation to appointments also. The meals are very thought out and balanced. If you are curious if Walnut Grove is a good fit for your loved one don't hesitate to set up a meeting to tour. I highly recommend this place.

Change is not easy. Moving from a small town to a city is not easy. Moving out of your family home is not easy. What was easy was the decision to chose Walnut Grove Retirement Community. We had done a ton of research and visited a lot of communities and all were fine places, but when my parents walked into the lobby at Walnut Grove and was greeted by Amber, it was a done deal! Both my parents commented that they had a good feeling the moment they walked in. The apartment, the food, the amenities and activities are all great, like many other places, but what makes Walnut Grove stand out is the staff! Second to none in our opinion. It is hard to adequately put into words, it is one of those things where you have to experience it to understand. Walnut Grove staff, thanks for treating my parents with respect, honor and love. You guys are the best!

I started working with Amber last year needing to move my loved one to Omaha. Amber was incredibly professional and helped me talk to my relative and answer questions and alleviate concerns regarding such a big change. We moved her in December and have been so pleased with the condition of her apt. At move in, the help we have received when asking questions, the food and activity offering is second to none and the rest of the staff are all so caring and nice. I would recommend this retirement community above anything else I toured in Omaha ad I believe it's second to none. Thankful we made this choice for the first phase of transition from living at home.
