A Community That Truly Feels Like Home – Thanks to Kim and Her Amazing Team! I recently had the pleasure of touring Verena at Leander, and I left feeling completely wowed…not just by the beautiful amenities, but by the warmth and heart behind everything. My friend Kim, the Executive Director, gave me the grand tour and made every moment feel personal and intentional. From thoughtfully designed floorplans to vibrant gathering spaces, Verena offers everything you’d hope for in a luxury 55+ community. What stood out most to me was how seamlessly Kim connected with both residents and staff during our visit. She introduced us to the executive chef, Kerra and the friendly sales director, Jodie, and even invited us to enjoy a delicious chef-prepared lunch—it was truly a cuisine! It’s clear that Kim leads with integrity and love. I’ve know this for years but to see it! The residents weren’t just polite—they were joyful and welcoming, which speaks volumes about the community culture. Verena isn’t just a beautiful place to live—it’s a place to belong. If you or someone you care about is looking for a vibrant, connected, worry-free lifestyle, I can’t recommend Verena—and Kim—highly enough. You’ll be in good hands, and even better company.

What an amazing place to call home. From the first time my mom walked in, the team at Verena was attentive and so gracious in helping her become acquainted with this amazing place to live. If you are looking for just the right place for independent living, Verena should be at the top of your list.

How happy I am to live at Verena. No matter what it is, the staff helps me. It is so upbeat. I recently had a makeover for my birthday and it made me feel like a queen! They treat me so very well!

I’ve been at Verena for 3 months. I’ve enjoyed meeting new people. There’s always something to do or I can just stay in my apartment and watch TV with Gabe my little poodle. The apartment is large enough that it feels like home. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food here is great! The outings are fun. They take me to appointments and pick me up afterwards. All and all I am very satisfied.
