Truewood by Merrill, Pinole

Hello people if you are looking for a place to put your loved one or for yourself do not look here… I was accosted in the parking lot by a man and a woman who tried to steal my jewelry and put their hands on me…This incident was taken to management to let them be aware of what’s going on 20 feet from their front door… They don’t care!! Their response was, we’re not responsible For the residents after they leave the building. However, they have benches outside the building for the residence to sit in and visit each other and get fresh air. Some residents on walkers walk their little dogs in the parking lot areas. How can they NOT have cameras? How can you NOT care about your residents? Who would want to be at a place or have your loved one here, where they don’t care about your safety and ignore incidents that happen on their grounds?? Again, They have no cameras outside or near the front door or in the parking lot nor or they concerned about predators looking for victims. I was traumatized! Be aware people.

I've been here for two years now. During my stay, I've observed the staff and the help how efficient they are, how helpful they are, and how well they serve the tenants. They not only perform one task, they perform multiple tasks. They're always helpful and energetic. I'd love to show my appreciation to the Truewood staff and administration to let them know that the persons they have working here, are 5-star employees. I'd like to thank every one of them for what they do and they way they do it. They deserve thanks and praise. Because of them, my stay here is wonderful.

I've been here for two months and my stay has been very pleasant. I would recommend it to anybody who is thinking to move here. Staff is outstanding, food is good, and the tenants are very friendly. Maintenance is very well taken care of. Everything a person needs is here. It's geographically convenient. The driver is excellent. The housekeepers do an excellent job. The manager is very helpful and very friendly.

Where do I start? From my heart. Truewood has given me so much Several things upon I would like to touch. I wish that I could take my apartment with me. Such a beautiful view I always see. The staff has made me feel a part of your family. How wonderful a feeling they have given me. Always helpful, always there, always ready to share. As to the residents, what do I say? Friendly, kind, cheerful each and every day. Serving as Resident Council Chair has given me a way to show how much I care. And how the food ever keeps me in a great mood! Coleslaw, veggie burgers, ice cream; all made with love by the Truewood cooking team. Truly for me, living here has been a dream!
