My mother is a resident at TreVista in Antioch. She has dementia. Dementia is like a slow goodbye. I placed my mother there because we were no longer able to properly take care of her at home. The staff at TreVista is like family. They are so nice and caring. For this review, I would like to recognize Blanca Canales. Blanca is the activity director of Memory Care at TreVista. Blanca is an amazing and loving person. She is always happy and energetic. Blanca has a way of connecting to the residents in Memory Care. She makes them feel important, wanted and most of all, she makes them feel loved. Blanca is my mother’s favorite person at TreVista. My mother lights up the moment she sees Blanca and wants to spend every second with her. I believe my mother thinks that Blanca only comes to work to be with her. During my visits, I believe all the other residents think Blanca only comes to see them too. The other residents wait with excitement for Blanca to get to work every day. I get frequent videos from Blanca of my mother dancing and having fun. The dancing videos are mostly of my mother dancing with Blanca while sporting a big smile. I am so lucky to have found TreVista. And my mother is so lucky to have found Blanca.

TreVista is truly a special community! The staff is warm and friendly and go above and beyond for their residents! From the dining experience, to the grounds, the comfortable rooms, and the calendar of fun events, they provide an atmosphere second to none! And we love being greeted with smiles from the residents in the rocking chairs sitting outside at the entrance!

Trevista Senior Living is an amazing place. Our family friend is a resident in “the Villa” where there is plenty of care, compassion and activities to keep the residents occupied and enjoying life. Ana is the manager of the unit and does a fantastic job making sure everyone’s needs are met and Blanca is the activities manager that makes sure days are fulfilled. The only thing I wish is that when these two people have off days, there is experienced coverage to fill in those activities
