Moving my parents from Oregon to Touchmark at Harwood was one of the most important decisions I've ever had to make as their only son, and I'm so grateful we found this community. From day one, the staff made my parents feel welcomed and cared for. The transition from out of state could have been overwhelming, but Touchmark's team was incredibly accommodating and made the move as smooth as possible. What really sets Touchmark apart is their ability to truly age in place. When my dad's needs changed and he required memory care, they had a secure unit ready. When my mom developed health issues that required additional assistance, they adapted her care without missing a beat. Having both my parents in one community, each receiving the specific level of care they need, has been invaluable. The staff is genuinely caring and attentive – not just going through the motions, but actually taking time to know my parents as individuals. That means everything to our family. As the only child living nearby, I had so many concerns about making the right choice for them. Touchmark at Harwood Groves is full of incredible people who care deeply about creating a community where residents truly thrive. Every time I’m on their campus, I’m struck by the warmth, intention, and genuine connection woven into everything they do. The staff doesn’t just provide care, they build relationships, foster joy, and make the space feel like home in the most authentic way. As someone who doesn’t live there (yet!) but is part of the wider Fargo community, I’m constantly impressed by the sense of belonging Touchmark creates. Our family transitioned my Mother-in-law to Touchmark Memory Assist in September of 2025. The process of moving her over from her prior care was smooth and simple- Touchmark was so helpful with the entire process start to finish. We are very happy with the care and additional mental stimulation she is receiving- it is a very active community allowing residents to have a robust social life within the facility. My Mother-in-law is a treasure to our family and we couldn’t be happier to know that when we aren’t able to be present with her, she is being loved and cared for well.
