Unfortunately, there is not a zero star option to select. This facility has reached an all time low ! The Sonida corporation is horrible. They are actively ignoring safety and staffing concerns. Formal complaints have been filed against them and yet the company acts dismissive and continues on as nothing is going on at The Waterford. They have ignored building and patient safety concerns time and again. Please consider another place for your loved ones. The Corporate office puts profit over people.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!! Treating the elderly like they are actually humans is not a priority at this place anymore. It used to be. I specifically would like to mention the new director, Jessica. She is very cold, unprofessional, rude, and defensive. She completely lacks empathy. Four residents have recently fallen IN THE SPAN OF ONE WEEK and seriously injured themselves and her response was, "accidents happen." My grandmother has been at Waterford for the past 3 years and we decided to remove her and place her in another facility due to negligence as well as an uncaring culture. This facility is understaffed and even have residents with dementia working the front desk. We used to love Waterford. Tracy was the events coordinator and she was truly a gift. She knew all of the residents' names and genuinely cared about them. When the new management came they got rid of her and the residents were so upset. The new director treats people like they are just a number. This once vibrant community is now stale. If you would like for your loved one to enjoy the senior years of their life I would strongly suggest avoiding this place.
