Caring staff and beautiful environment are but of a few of the delights that I experienced in my 3 stays at The Villages at Oak Ridge. I needed care, therapy and wound care in my visits to my "Resort facility ".The dining experience was supervised by a chef who took time to go over my dietary needs and likes. All the nursing staff became my team of Healthcare professionals to provide the timely and caring assistance that helped me recover from a traumatic injury. In the last years of my son's life he was here and the nursing aids cared for him and made him feel loved. The activities staff have a variety of themes days and activities that are fun for all. The house keepers do a great job of keeping everything clean, neat and in the proper place, making me feel as if I were in a resort hotel. I want to thank everyone for their great support and encouragement.

My Dad received sub-par care. Basically it was a place for him to sleep and get IV antibiotics for his infection. Other than that, my mom did everything else for him. Several members of the staff were rude. When we checked it we were told that he'd be covered by his insurance as long as he was on antibiotics, then after we were there a day they said they messed up and his insurance was out of network but that they'd honor what we were told. Well they didn't. In the end they threatened to sue my dad for $8000 even though his insurance paid their portion. What a scam. Make sure you get any agreement in writing from them and even then I'd have attorney look it over bc they're shady! .

They keep the facility very clean. By far the best nursing home and rehab in the area hands down. There is a 24 hr. coffee and juice bar, the nursing staff for the most part is nice and helpful and care about their patients. The facility smells like a hotel and doors are always open at anytime day or night for family and friends. If you love your family, this is where you need to fight to have them placed

The caregivers at the Villages at Oak Ridge are absolutely wonderful. This is far and beyond the best facility in the area. Thank you for everything you do for the residents everyday!
