I can't say enough about this wonderful community and its Executive Director, Monique Uzee. I'm a Motivational Speaker that has been speaking there on a monthly basis ever since the building opened. Monique continues to amaze me by truly putting her residents (and their families) first. Her staff is top notch and the community itself feels shiny and new after a recent renovation. If you (or anyone you know) happen to be looking for an Assisted Living/Memory Care community, you owe it to yourself to check this one out. You won't be disappointed!

I can only speak to the memory care services, but I cannot recommend this facility to anyone. When my mother first moved in a couple of years ago, there was an excellent director, but once she left, the quality of care declined significantly. We were informed that my mother required a sitter to help monitor her, which we arranged. However, when the sitter sent us photos or reported the inadequate care my mom was receiving, she faced backlash from the director and head nurses. The sitter was prohibited from taking photos of my mother or sharing any negative information with us. We were the ones who hired and paid her, yet it felt like we had no say in her care. Without the sitter's assistance, I shudder to think of what my mother's condition would have been. On a positive note, the staff on the 7 am to 2 pm shift were wonderful. They were honest and consistently went above and beyond. Sadly, the issues during the later shifts and the new director tarnished our experience. Many dedicated employees either left or were let go. The staff was overworked and there simply weren’t enough of them. On my mom's final day, I noticed that only one person was responsible for the entire floor, and she was sitting at a table absorbed in her phone. Whenever we discussed concerns with the director, it felt as though the focus shifted back to us, leading me to worry that my mother’s care would be compromised. The director often lied, assuring us that issues were addressed when they were not. We encountered numerous problems that required multiple follow-ups. I understand that every one of these places has its challenges, but this experience was incredibly frustrating for us during an already stressful period. You find yourself in a difficult situation when a loved one reaches a point where moving them could jeopardize their mental well-being and you feel stuck.
