Our tour (my sister and I) at the Village in Northridge was awesome! We were very impressed when we first walked in with the warm welcome we received. The facility is specious and beautiful...with the beautiful gardens and the pool, it is very much like a resort living. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. The services and amenities provided are in abundance and so are the numerous activities including live entertainment and movie theater available to the residents. After the tour, we had the fortune to meet with the Director of Sales, Maridy Curry who was kind enough to give us first-hand information and answer in detail to all our questions. While she is not ready yet to make the move, my sister said that The Village is the one that she would choose. We both were very impressed!

We moved in 3 years ago at end of June, and we have had an extraordinary experience at TVN. The staff is exceptionally caring , the activities are amazing as are the activity director and her staff. Also the food is exceptional, the variety on the menu is astonishing, and the chef is very talented. The community grounds are very well kept and maintained. The front desk is always welcoming and very helpful. We love the drivers, they are very caring. They go above and beyond to make sure residents are safe. The residents at The Village are very warm, and friendly.

We have spent many years trying to research the best place for us for senior living. We have been to fifteen to sixteen different senior facilities. We have worked through a senior living broker and, thus, have lots of experience doing this. And then it came time for us to move to senior living. We, again, went to visit many of the places we had considered and The Village At Northridge is tops. And that’s true! One of the qualities that the Village has is its friendliness. You can not walk down a hall without being greeted and talked to. It is large enough so that there are many wonderful activities all day long. Art, music, current events, exercise classes, games, history, movies (shown twice a day) discussion of books, singing groups. We even have a pet show! But we are not so large you don’t know people. Cats and small dogs are welcome, as long as the dog doesn’t bark too much! Additionally, there are swimming lessons, water exercise and a spa to soak in! The food is always fine and you have so many choices each day: breakfast and lunch and then dinner has two choices for soup, two different salads, four main dishes, two kinds of meat, and additionally vegetarian and fish courses. Oh, and two kinds of starches and two vegetables. AND four to five different kinds of dessert. We take all kinds of trips. Transportation is available for medical appointments and shopping. The staff is outstanding to the nth degree and the grounds are always immaculate. We never lack anything. But the best parts are the wonderful staff and the lovely people who live here. We have met people we wish we had met fifty years ago. We are in deep appreciation for all we have here. Wendy & Marilee

We gave a 4-star because of location mainly because of parking. We did not feel it is safe especially if arriving home at night. Property is not completely fenced in. We had a very nice visit. Everyone pleasant. Facilities very clean. Lots of room options! Learned more about retirement living which was very useful for planning our future decisions! We enjoyed talking with Judy and Steve at lunch who told us a lot about the Village and all its amenities.
