Although my mother ended up at another facility due to the care she needed at the time, Tyler and his team at The Summit were incredible! It is a beautiful facility, with a caring team! I believe in top down leadership, and Tyler exemplifies the leadership you’d hope for from a facility with whom you’re entrusting the well-being of your loved one! Many thanks to Tyler and his team!!!

We moved our mom to The Summit this fall. We have had such a good experience.. Brooke and her team are some of the kindest people I have met and truly care about our mom’s well being. Alzheimer’s is heartbreaking. The staff at The Summit are educated and trained in caring for all types of dementia. Bonus…The facility is also always clean and cheerful.

I had been talking with Ruthie Smith for several months before my husband and I moved in to The Summit. She must have answered 100 questions for me - honestly and completely, and she showed much heart and compassion while we prepared for the move. Ruthie is the most competent and helpful person and represents just how wonderful The Summit assisted living can be. We are very happy here and seeing Ruthie every day, answering questions and helping people, inspires me.

My 10y/o son and I went on a scheduled tour at The Summit at Chenal Valley Senior living as part of my research to find a residence for my aging mother. Our appointment was with Erin, and from the moment we met, she was incredibly warm and welcoming, not only to me, but to my son as well. She also listened to my circumstances as if it were her own mother, which immediately put me at ease, because anyone dealing with on aging parent, who no longer is truly able to take care of themselves, knows that making the decision to move them into any type of assisted living situation is difficult. Erin walked us around much of the community (I'm avoiding saying "facility", as she explained to me that they have removed it from their vocabulary because of the negative connotations associated with it, opting for words like "residence" and "community"), and I must say, the place is lovely! It is a brand new residence, being only a few months old, with wonderful design and decor. We met much of the staff, including Chef Linda, who gave my son hot chocolate and an ice cream sandwich, both of which were big hits! And one of the most striking parts of the experience was how warm and friendly the residents were who we met! They all seemed so happy, and promised to embrace my mother in friendship the moment she arrived! We ended our tour with Erin with some take-home paperwork, and a gift bag containing what looks like banana bread (I haven't tried it yet, but it looks delicious)! We hugged (I'm a hugger, and fortunately, so is she!) and I told her we would be in touch... We couldn't have asked for a better visit! Thank you to Erin, Chef Linda, Ms. Contessa, and all the staff at The Summit! You helped make what could have been a troubling experience anything but! If you are looking for a place for your aging loved one where they can feel safe, welcomed, and happy in their later years, you would be doing a tremendous disservice by not considering The Summit. Make an appointment, you will not be disappointed! And tell Erin I sent you!
