I worked at The Springs for over two years as a server, and I really enjoyed my time there. The flexible schedule was great while I was in college, and getting to know the residents was the best part of the position. I loved being able to make a positive impact on their day and be part of such a supportive community.

I was employed here as a dining room server, it was great and all. People cared about you most of the time. Although, if your boss has favorites they wont care about you. There has been plenty of times where people will get a higher treatment than others just because the manager likes them. For instance, one time the night before I had worked on the Independent Living side, then the next day i came in and the manager got mad at me for not cleaning up the Assisted Living side the night before, a few servers along with the Dining Room Supervisor at the time all had to vouch for me saying that actually i was working on the IL side and that so and so was actually working the AL side. All my boss said was “oh..” and walked away. They didn’t have anything else to say to me for wrongly accusing me for things I didn't do. Another time, my dog was getting put down two days and I had just found out about it, I asked if I could have that day off and instead of giving me that day off they said I had to have someone cover for me. Yet they let someone else just take a whole week off after their dog had passed. The boss had even given everyone a card to sign for her because her dog had passed. I wasn't doing so well and I was working less efficiently because I wasn't ok, my best friend had just passed and they told me that sucks but you have to just work. Basically, I constantly got yelled at and accused for things I didn’t do, and they hardcore played favorites. Yes, all of the bosses knew about all of it. It didn’t matter what I had to say because they were all friends.

My Mom was in the memory care section for a short time at The Springs. They have the most compassionate staff! Nicole, Zane, Trevor kept me informed of my mom every step of the way and took such extra care of her! Brandi, Hannah, Patrick, Sofi and Candace were exceptional too. Always right on top of things. Mable was right there compassionately with my mom right to the very end reading to her and rubbing her legs as she took her last breath. They have activities for the residents and a hair salon and do manicures for the residents. Our experience was a very good experience! Thank you for taking such great care of my mom in her short time there.
