Our mother moved into Proveer about 9 months ago. It was a big change for her at 92 coming from her own home. I remember Libby who we first met with asked “What do you want for your mother?” I wanted her to find a place where she would be safe and happy. I hoped she could make a few friends and have some fun activities during her day. I can say that has definitely been met at Grande View. Mother’s faith is also extremely important to her and they have been great to meet that need through several added activities. Monica is the activities director and has done an excellent job. She knows her residents and desires to give them opportunities to have fun while helping them cognitively etc…. No place is perfect but they have listened when I have had a concern to come up. I absolutely love that it is smaller than most other places which has allowed for Mother and me to get to know her new community I have and would recommend Proveer at Grande View. Karen Blackburn

The Ridge at Grandview is a great choice if you are looking to place your parents into an Assisted Living or Memory Care. It was recently remodeled and is situated perfectly on the 280 corridor. Susan and her team will do a great job caring for your loved one.

If I could give a review just based on cleanliness and friendliness the rating would be 5 star. However this is assisted living and the residents are elderly and fragile. All of the residents complain about how freezing cold it is in the dining room. They have to put on coats just to be able to enter to eat the COLD FOOD that they are served at every meal. Most of the residents have thin blood or other conditions which already makes them cold. If the temperature was reasonable they wouldn't have to be wrapped up in blankets in the dining room. They would also probably be able to sit there long enough to try and enjoy the cold served oatmeal and cold hard scorched scrambled eggs. This is not an occasional occurrence it is daily. When they asked why couldn't the temp be adjusted they were told that corporate controls the temperature from a different location? The residents complain everyday about the cold and the food. This causes seniors to not consume enough food.

This community has gone downhill under the new leadership. The executive director is dismissive, and shows little regard for residents and especially their families. Transparency and trust have completely disappeared. If you’re considering this place for a loved one, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. The well-being of residents should come first, and it clearly does not here. SO thankful we found a much better facility
