My family had a visit today. As soon as we walked into the place you get a welcoming feeling. A personalized welcome greeting was the first thing I saw. The building itself is warm with a living room, and fireplace inviting you to stay a while. Debbie is fantastic! Over lunch Debbie took time to get to know my father and tell us about the place. I never felt rushed as Debbie gave my family a tour of the place. She answered all our questions. I can tell Debbie genuinely cares about both potential new residents as well current residents. Thank you Debbie for the amazing visit!

There are moments in life when you are faced with one of the hardest decisions a family can make — finding a place where someone you love with all your heart will be safe, cared for, and truly seen. For our family, that journey led us to The Residence at South Windsor Farms, and more specifically, to Reflections. They are phenomenal in every sense of the word — loving, gentle, attentive, and endlessly patient. Every resident is known. Every resident matters. No one is overlooked. No one goes without comfort, kindness, or connection. I especially want to recognize the nurse aides - each and every one of them. The way they care for our Lynne is nothing short of extraordinary. They treat her with such tenderness, respect, and genuine love. They speak to her softly. They comfort her. They celebrate her. They care for her not as a task, but as a person — as someone deeply valued. As family members, there is no greater comfort than knowing the hands caring for your loved one are kind, patient, and filled with heart. Their compassion shows in the smallest moments, and those moments mean everything to us. It truly feels like moving from one family to another. There is a warmth here that you cannot manufacture — you feel it immediately. It’s in the smiles, in the way they speak to the residents, in the small, tender interactions that might seem simple to others but mean the world to families like ours. I also want to recognize the Engagement team, Stephanie, Beth, Luke's team - The residents don’t just “stay” here — they live. They laugh. They go on adventures. They participate in activities that spark joy and preserve their sense of self. Their days are filled with purpose and meaningful connection. Even dining is thoughtful and dignified — meals are chosen with care and served restaurant-style, honoring preferences and independence. And then there is Nancy, the Director of Reflections. To say she is phenomenal hardly does her justice. She has been a steady source of support, compassion, and reassurance for our family. She is present, always willing to answer a question, always ready with compassion and understanding. Her leadership shines not only in how beautifully maintained the apartments are, but in the culture of love and excellence she fosters throughout Reflections. The entire community is immaculate, but what stands out far beyond the physical beauty is the emotional safety you feel there. The Residence at South Windsor Farms has been nothing short of a blessing to our family. When you leave your loved one there, you don’t leave with fear or uncertainty — you leave with peace. And that peace is priceless. There truly are not enough words to express our gratitude. My mother lived at The Residence at South Windsor Farms and passed away two weeks ago. I can't thank the staff enough for everything they did for her. It wasn't only care -- it was caring. We always felt welcome and supportive. Her apartment was just beautiful, and the food in the dining hall and the third floor bistro was superb. There are so many opportunities for interacting, learning, out-trips, parties, happy hours, and learning. They get my highest recommendation, along with my thanks, for the wonderful environment for her to spend her final years.

It felt like Debbie and her team dropped everything to help me from the first call. I was texting with her immediately and was able to coordinate doctor care, insurance, and everything else to have my father moved in within a week of my first phone call. The facility and every team member continue to exceed all expectations. The onsite dining lives up to the reputation. The nursing staff is extremely communicative, thorough, and caring. You get everything and more you’d hope for from this place and my father is extremely happy in his new home. I would recommend this place to everyone.
