My mother had lived at three other communities before she moved into Charles Meadow. To say that the experience is night and day compared to the other facilities is an understatement. I am completely convinced that the leadership within these communities, their hiring practices and emphasis on training and respect is paramount to how the entire community operates & how it feels. In my opinion, the leadership team at Charles Meadow is exceptional and exemplary. None of these communities are going to be perfect. There will always be things found or staff members that will disappoint. But based on my experience, what we have seen & where we have been, Charles Meadow stands so far above the other communities that I feel very good about making an extremely high recommendation to any family who is looking for a place for their loved one to live the final quarter of their life.

My dad was the first male resident at Anthology before it became The Residence at Charles Meadow. From the beginning the staff was very attentive to him and the community itself extremely welcoming. What I appreciated most were the residents themselves and how they treated one another. They value the community they have and that is so important. Our first interaction was with Andrea in Sales and she was fantastic. She is empathetic, understands the customer and never pushed anything on us. The aides all loved my dad and took great care of him. He and Alexandra had a special bond and he lit up every time he saw her. If there was ever a problem with an aide, I would immediately call and the issue was promptly addressed. I appreciated the communication between the nursing staff, Director Jessica Morreale, Memory Care Director Yusi Perez, and myself as we constantly evaluated my dad's care. When it came time to move him to Memory Care, Yusi and her team were incredibly welcoming and attentive to my dad's needs. Not the typical memory care patient, my dad was unable to participate in most of the activities, but the aides, especially Sonia, Nurse Kevin, and Yusi all tended to his needs both physically and emotionally. My dad passed recently and the team has continued to check in with me to make sure we are doing ok. You can't ask for more than that. Every place has it's challenges and there is always room for improvement, but every ounce of feedback I provided was well received and addressed when possible. Problems with aides or behavior were rare and were fixed immediately and I know that LCB will only increase the overall care and comfort provided to it's residents. I would recommend The Residence at Charles Meadow for anyone considering assisted living or memory care for their loved one.

My grandmother has been a memory care resident for several months now, and our family is very happy with the care she has received. The facility is beautiful, and staff members have always had a friendly demeanor and gone above and beyond to help her and accomodate family visits.
