The Phoenix at Lake Joy

Can't say enough good things about this place and the staff. It was necessary for my daddy to move to The Phoenix over the Christmas holidays 2025. If the holidays are not stressful enough, add that to the to-do list! Michelle and Phillip were amazing working through their holiday schedule to make it happen, often emailing or texting after hours. We felt welcome from day one. Daddy's needs were met with compassion and attention from each one of the ladies on his hall. They quickly learned his likes and dislikes and saw to it he had what he needed and wanted. There are so many activities! Ashley, the activities director, is so inventive! Bingo, happy hour, movies, trips to town, ice cream socials, singing groups, the list goes on and on. Again, I highly recommend this place for you or your loved one. Thank you, Phoenix, for taking such great care of my daddy.

I highly recommend The Phoenix at Lake Joy to any family seeking top-tier care in Warner Robins. Our experience here has been incredible. The management team is remarkably responsive and professional; they are always quick to address any questions or accommodate our family’s specific needs. That care extends directly to the staff, who are exceptionally compassionate, attentive, and treat residents with total dignity and respect. On top of the great team, the facility itself is beautiful, clean, and modern. The layout is very easy to navigate, and the wonderful common areas and dining options make it feel like a warm, welcoming home. Five stars!

I cannot say enough about how amazing The Phoenix at Lake Joy has been for our family. Everyone from the top down has been just so comforting, competent, and attentive to all of us involved not just our loved one entering the facility. I truly feel that they genuinely care about my loved one not just physically but also mentally, emotionally, and socially. They provide so many activities to keep her active with her mentally and physically. Everyone has been kind and considerate to her and to us her family. I have been kept well informed about everything and every step involved in this process from the very beginning. I have so appreciated the patience the staff has had with us all. They have made this experience much easier than I ever imagined. And oh my the facility is immaculate and gorgeous! It is like going into a resort! I cannot recommend this facility enough for families!

As we searched for the right place for our mom, we visited several assisted living communities in the Warner Robins and Macon area. From the moment we walked into The Phoenix, we knew it was the right choice. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the facility is spotless—honestly, it feels more like a beautiful lodge than an assisted living community. When it came time for Mom to move in, they went above and beyond to make the transition smooth and even joyful for her, which meant so much to our family. What truly stands out is the level of care from the staff. They take the time to sit with her, talk with her, and make her feel special—it’s clear they genuinely care. Making this decision wasn’t easy, but The Phoenix made it so much more comfortable for all of us. We are incredibly grateful to have found such a compassionate and supportive place.
