The director of the facility, Sherry, has been amazing. Walked me thru the process of finding an excellent facility for mother. Mom has been there 6 mos and the entire staff has been caring, loving and strive their hardest to make sure mom is comfortable and happy. The meals are delicious and nutritionally balanced. It is a smaller facility which provides a family type atmosphere. There are a variety of crafts, music, worship, outdoor activities and even ice cream trips. I cannot express enough appreciation for Sherry as she makes sure all departments are in order. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly in every department. Highly recommend

My 90-year-old father was wrongfully evicted from the memory care center at The Neighborhood just 2 days after we moved him in. He was evicted, through no fault of his own, but because the director, Sherri, did not thoroughly assess his needs as a diabetic or know the capabilities of her own facility. We were promised quality care for my father, who suffers from dementia, but what we got was a traumatic experience for everyone involved. The move greatly exacerbated my father’s condition. The day of the eviction, my father entered the hospital, and we moved furniture out of the facility just days after moving it in. The area and state ombudsman, as well as the inspector general’s office all acknowledge that the eviction was wrongful and illegal. Don’t send your loved ones here.

A couple of years after my mom passed away we realized dad was having some cognitive issues and just wasn’t thriving socially. Previously my grandfather had been a resident at Morningside, so Dad, my sister and I decided it would be a good idea to check into assisted living. It was the best decision. The staff is great, the activities help him socially, physically and cognitively. He enjoys himself and is happy. It gave my sister and I peace of mind knowing he’s well taken care of, has friends he enjoys time with and loves to get out and about. (Before Covid). We are so appreciative of everyone at Morningside.

Sherrie and all the staff do a wonderful job every day! Sherrie goes above and beyond to make sure the residence at The Neighborhood Paducah KY are well cared for and have an enjoyable home. The Thanksgiving Family Meal was so very nice and delicious. I thank you all for your hard work to make it a special evening for our family.
