We needed help with our grandmother 24 hours a day. She is 96 years old and she has been admitted and is now a resident at the magnolia. This is a very nice place. Very good food and the staff is excellent. I would suggest this for anyone that needs Around the clock Assistance and Care for your elderly family members. We searched foreign and wild and chose this in Oxford, Mississippi the magnolia impressed us, and the apartments are really nice. You can furnish them the way you’d like you also can update them if you want to at your expense.

Mom and Dad have been at The Magnolia for a couple months now, and we are extremely pleased. Mom is fully independent, but Dad suffers from Parkinson’s and dementia and has limited mobility. The leadership and staff at The Magnolia have really gotten to know my parents and have provided Mom with exactly the kind of support we hoped she would get. In addition, the activities coordinator is an upbeat ray of sunshine who works hard to keep residents happy and engaged. Staff provide rides to and from local appointments when needed. With physical therapy (and occupational and speech), a salon, massage therapy, and even mani/pedis all available onsite, life has become much easier for Mom and Dad. My folks really enjoy the food and have found community among the residents. My sister and I have newfound peace of mind. Highly recommend.

My mother who is very independent is very happy living at the Magnolia. When she moved in she was in a wheel chair with a broken vertebrae. The excellent physical therapy group now has her walking with very little assistance with a cane. Mom loves all the field trips and activities that are planned in and away from the Magnolia. Rebecca plans all the activities and does an outstanding job. She also takes the group to Kroger and Walmart when needed and stays with them the entire time inside the store. She is amazing. The Magnolia also takes her to her doctors appointments, hair appointments, etc. I live 7 hours away and it’s very difficult for me to be there for her. She brags on the very caring and attentive nursing staff. They dispense her medicine for her reorder prescriptions, etc. mom loves the dining service, she can sit down with her friends and order from a menu for all three meals which are excellent by the way. I have had a few meals there myself. She loves having her apartment cleaned every week and her bed changed too. Mom is thriving at the Magnolia and I am at peace that she is not living in her home alone. I highly recommend the Magnolia with the exceptional administration, nursing, etc. you will be very happy but mostly your aging parent will too.

As a resident of the Magnolia at the Commons, the care provided here has exceeded my expectations, as well as those of my family. Much needed physical therapy was quickly provided ‘in house’, as well as a daily exercise class which is excellent and provides appropriate seated exercise, range of motion exercises, and balance strengthening. There are numerous daily activities throughout the day, and a strong sense of community. The atmosphere here is very positive and upbeat. The food is excellent and balanced with a chef who takes pride in providing food which appeals to all residents. My family and I have been more than pleased with our choice for me to reside at the Magnolia. karen Winter
