Lumiere of Chesterfield offers a refined environment managed by a dedicated, friendly team. During my multiple visits, I’ve found the facility to be consistently spotless and the grounds beautifully kept. It’s a community where visitors feel welcome and residents are treated with the utmost care.

Am on the fence with my review as my parents are new residents here. The amenities promised upon signing are not fully available yet and no type of compensation was offered for those missing services i.e.; valet service, pull-cords in the bathrooms, availability to speak with anyone if additional care might be needed. The facility itself is very attractive, and I have attended happy hour and dined with my parents and both of those items were fine. It's still a new place, about a year old, so hoping everything works itself out but my family has had no luck getting contact with the director since she sold us on the unit, and we're not happy about that. I tried her again today and get nothing but busy signals - just not a good way to keep the faith.

My in laws have been here for only a few months now, and while it is an absolutely stunning Facility, there are little to no activities/ amenities that we were told all about and reeled in with. It seems the Residents of The Lumiere have to come up with their own ideas of day trips or activities verses having a calendar filled with daily events. Parking is terrible. Absolutely terrible. There also seems to be a heavy turn over in staff for a brand new facility. We can only visit in the evening, so I’ve yet to meet with the owner/director to voice my concerns. I’ve also called and am always told they are not there or away from their desk. On a positive note, they seem to love the food and drinks. They talk about their meals more than anything else. The few day trips offered that they signed up for, parents really enjoyed, especially the winery. We’re hopeful things change a bit so they will stay.

I love my apartment, tall windows and ceilings, and plenty of natural light! It overlooks a beautiful terrace. The food is appetizing and plentiful. There is always a smile and a conversation with the wonderful staff. Chesterfield Central Park is across the street, as well as walking trails, pool, playground and amphitheater. The amenities are too numerous to mention!
