My mother was given the false promise of a room on the east side with a mountain view on the top floor, but when we arrived they put her on the first floor right next to the front desk. The food they served us at a party the week before she moved in was represented to us as a regular quality of food that she would be receiving daily which was not the case. The food is basic cafeteria food. The second night she was there she pushed the button for assistance because she was on the floor and could not get back to her bed, no one ever showed up to asist her. She called me and wanted to leave immediately. I picked her up on the third day to bring her home. They kept several thousand dollars of her platinum deposit and would not refund it to her. We have asked over and over for the deposit back and they keep telling us they're going to send it to us but they don't. It's been almost 5 months.

My sweet mother in law has been a resident for just over 3 years now. Imagine moving from your home state of New Jersey, and moving clear across the country, from the ocean to the desert .... all of this at age 96! She transitioned beautifully, and we're so happy to have her living less than ten minutes away from us. She loves the Legacy, she calls it "the resort"! 🩷 Words alone cannot describe how wonderful this facility is ..... but I'll give it my best shot. Immediately you feel like you're at home when you walk in. It's so welcoming, bright and clean. And then there's the staff, well, what can I say, they are just incredible, every single one of them! They are so caring and you can see how much they enjoy what they do. I'm brought to tears when I see the care and love they give our mom. And they treat my husband and myself like family. All the staff always has a big smile for you when they see you! It's such a nice feeling knowing your loved one is being so well taken care of by this lovely team of professionals! We're so grateful for them! 🙏❤️ When mom was in the hospital a few years ago, I was visiting her in the hospital every day and she was there for 3 weeks. And you know, I really missed all the other residents and the staff for those three weeks when I wasn't visiting the facility. Mom is so busy, she's never in her room. They have so many great activities going on every day! Exercising, walks, outings for shopping and lunch, trips by bus to Balloon Fiesta, bingo, blackjack, cards, crafts, movies (with freshly popped popcorn!), cooking & baking, reading sessions, discussion forums, and so much more. Oh and I'm now a regular at Bingo and they welcome me with open arms every week! Mom is turning 100 in just a few weeks and the staff is so excited for her, it's truly heartwarming. ❤️ Thank you Legacy, we appreciate everything you do, more than you know! 🥰🥰

Once we knew we needed help with caring for our Mom, my sisters and I visited many facilities before we made our decision. We were immediately drawn to the Legacy. The minute we walked in, I got a good feeling. It is modern, clean, and offers many activities to keep the residents engaged in life. All the staff we have interacted with so far have been compassionate and professional. Mom is a new resident, but we know we have made the right decision for her because she is safe, well cared for, and everyone that helps her has gone above and beyond to make her feel at home here. I feel like the people my Mom sees everyday truly care about her, and that helps give me peace that we made the right decision. Thank you Legacy Staff for supporting Mom and our whole family with patience and kindness as she transitions into assisted living.

My grandfather recently moved in to the The Legacy at Santa Fe. I worked with Ruben and the team to get grandpa moved in as quickly as possible after a stay in the hospital. The team at the Legacy moved up his move in date to accommodate his hospital release. Ruben and his staff helped put all of Grandpa's furniture together and loaned us items that we needed until we were able to purchase them. We all met together to go over Grandpa's care plan so that we could decide on a placement that allowed Grandpa the most autonomy and also kept him safe and cared for. I love the staff at The Legacy! They are caring and treat the residents with respect. The residents have a large menu of programs to choose from during the week. This week I was able to join Grandpa at a concert in the music room where we sang along to familiar songs. They went on an outing and had lunch and ice cream the following day. I was waiting for grandpa to return, and it was so joyous to see him practically run through the door with such joy after his outing. The concierge, Jules is wonderful and so patient in answering all of our questions. Sonia, grandpa's nurse is very knowledgeable and empathetic. The food is wonderful, and the chef offers options if the residents want a different item. Grandpa loves the food so much they've started offering double portions! We are so grateful to the caring staff at The Legacy. I think I might move in myself :) Quick update. Grandpa is doing so well that he was moved to assisted living! He has gained weight and is making friends with the residents.
