This industrious group sought to develop a community that takes the assisted living model of care to a higher level in an environment of comfortable elegance, staffed by loving professionals. The Kensington is designed to be home for seniors who are looking for assisted living and memory care services. My experience at The Kensington has been first - rate. My mother’s care in the Assisted Living area was professional, responsible, caring and conducted with dignity and high principles of this finely - run home for seniors. There are myriad activities for all stages of care level, excellent medical supervision, a professional congenial staff, and a beautiful environment. I had the confidence that my mom had her final years in a quality , caring environment. Many thanks over the years to the Management and the Kensington staff. Alison Fletcher

The Kensington in White Plains is an exceptional place. The staff from bottom to top treats my Mom with kindness and respect. The physical facilities are first class. The building is beautifully decorated and inviting as are the bedrooms. And my Mom raves about the food and never misses a meal. There are movie screenings and happy hours with live musical performances every day as well as a plethora of activities. I am saddened that when my Dad needed assisted care some years ago the Kensington had not yet been built. The contrast with the facility that cared for my Dad is stunning. It is most heartwarming that my Mom who resisted moving to a senior care facility now warmly refers to the Kensington as “her home.”

Excellent! Most Wonderful Place Ever! My wife was in their care for about 2 years. She had Lewy Body Dementia. Her home was Haven in The Kensington. The environment was soft and loving and clean. She wasn't easy to care for either, as she could get agitated due to her disease and, still, they cared for her as their own. Wonderful people! In the end, I kept her in Hospice there and her care became even more exceptional. Constantly in view with lovely suroundings with evryone checking her. I truely couldn't ask for a better place! Thank you, Bill, Denise, Cameo, Zen, the music director, and really everyone whose names escape me! Thank you for your care and your compassion! My love to you all! John

I wish I could put into words to how eternally grateful I, and my siblings, are to the members of the Kensington staff for the wonderful care that my mother received while she was there. From her first day everyone was so welcoming and helped her to feel at home. It was wonderful to see her sitting with friends and talking with the dining staff. They always made sure that she ate a good meal and topped it off with chocolate ice cream. Her care partners were loving and kind always ensuring that her dignity was maintained. Staff members would often drop in to say hello even when they weren't assigned to her. The staff at the Kensington became a second family to us all. We knew that our mother was cared for with kindness and love. Thank you all.
