I recently brought an international group of 40 occupational therapy students (from 19 countries) to the Kensington, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. One thing that stood out to all of us was the standard of love and care shown to everyone (community members and visitors alike) by the Kensington team. It was clear that no one was there to just 'do their job' but were genuinely giving of themselves ... real person-to-real-person. Our OT student group observed that this can only happen when the team itself feels valued, cared for, empowered, and appreciated. We've been lucky to visit the Kensington many times over the years, and each time we've come away with this impression of a community of love, care, and connection. My wife and I recently celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with a reception for family and friends at The Kensington Sierra Madre. The staff worked closely with our family to make sure the event went off just as planned. Our guests were impressed with the caring staff and the lovely grounds and facilities. We are so grateful to The Kensington for helping to make our 50th Anniversary Celebration such a lovely memory.

I have been to the Kensington on multiple occasions and each time I am greeted with warmth and care. The place is very clean and the staff all look excited and happy to be there. Every time I visit, the residents are having a blast with activities like Casino Night, Bingo, and Uno — they look so happy and are genuinely having fun. It is clear that everyone truly enjoys being there. If you are looking for a great community to be a part of, the Kensington is it.

From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Their dedication to providing excellent care for residents is truly unmatched. Marjorie has always been incredible and does things above and beyond, April’s kindness shines through in everything she does, and Danielle is such a wonderful addition to their amazing team. Their events are second to none, bringing joy and connection to everyone involved. We absolutely love working with The Kensington and are so grateful for all they do!
