At The Kensington, our Promise to love and care for your family as we do our own is at the heart of what we do. Our community is an assisted living and memory care residence open to Northern Virginia in the heart of beautiful Falls Church. It is the realization of a vision of passionate leaders in the senior living industry. This industrious group sought to develop a community that takes the assisted living model of care to a higher level in an environment of comfortable elegance, staffed by loving professionals. They have accomplished just that.
We believe the comfort of familiarity is precious, so our enhanced program enables us to offer care beyond what the traditional assisted living community can deliver. We offer a full spectrum of clinical support, including end-of-life care, licensed nurses onsite 24/7, and no resident needs to move out if health care needs change or increase. We offer life enrichment activities 7 days a week with dedicated life enrichment professionals, along with restaurant style dining where our dining rooms are open 12 hours a day so residents can sit down for a meal whenever they'd like. We have had two beloved family members live at The Kensington. First, our aunt in Memory Care, and now our mother in Assisted Living. While no facility is absolutely perfect, The Kensington comes about as close as it gets; providing a beautiful atmosphere, excellent food, a wide variety of activities, and, most importantly, a dedicated, caring staff. On that last point, what we have found is that The Kensington really prioritizes staff retention; ensuring that they keep and develop people that are really contributing to the facility’s “We treat your family the way we would treat our own” ethos. That is a real distinguishing factor that, when it was time for our Mom to move to an ALF, made us believe that The Kensington was our only choice. We are extremely satisfied, and I wouldn’t mind eventually joining the community myself (hopefully in the somewhat distant future).

I had a wonderful time at the Kensington’s Fall Festival. There’s face painting, a petting zoo, refreshments, and great music! It’s free. Great for the entire family. At 700-Broad St., Falls Church in the parking garage off Lee St.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting an educational wellness event at Kensington Falls Church, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The team was incredibly welcoming, organized, and supportive throughout the entire process. The residents were highly engaged and showed great interest in learning about how acupuncture and integrative approaches can help with chronic pain, sleep, stress, and overall well-being. It was especially meaningful to see such enthusiasm for education and proactive health management. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a caring and professional community and look forward to hosting more events together in the future. Highly recommend Kensington Falls Church for their commitment to resident wellness and quality programming!

We were recently invited to enjoy a scrumptious "Italian Cafe" dinner at the Kensington, prepared by their master chef. As neighbors of the Kensington, we dined with the family of a resident who is happy to be living there. We are impressed with the thoughtfulness of the Kensington staff and how well-maintained the living quarters are. We are told by neighbors who have a relative at the Kensington that the staff are quite caring toward the residents.
